Power spray discussion

S Reaper Ichigo said:
Until I see 3 SPs on the field, I just declare my power and continue on with it. However, if I see 3 SPs, I declare the power and then wait until my opponent responds.

this is how every player should play.

I do what S reaper says and usually I announce every card I play because it's just runs a smoother game.

But since this is a power spray discussion...

What do you guys think about baiting power spray? Meaning they cyrus'd for a spray last turn and you need to use a power to win, so you create a diversion from another power

If you want to see people's feelings about the use of baiting out a Power Spray please see this thread.

How picky do you guys enforce this rule? Has anyone ever said/was told by someone that they can't use Power Spray because their 3 seconds were already up? lol.

How do you go about proving that to a judge? It's really a "he-said-she-said" deal.

well i dont use powers so im good! :D lol
Who am i kidding i run a freakin Luxchomp deck. but what i do is say the power in a question like "Set up?"

but then again i always come across those people who rush everything and dont even delcare the power....

Oh and p.s 3 seconds is enough

Just for everyone's benefit, if you use Bright Look, you do not have to declare which Pokemon you want to force them to switch to before they use Power Spray. I found that on POP Forums, which many of you do not have access to. I really think 5 seconds should be adequate time to play Power Spray if you are going to play it.~Mark
