Ruling Power Spray Question

Can I use Power Spray to stop a Fainting Spell or Ectoplasm.

Not sure on this question (so feel free to correct me, Masters. :f), but because you knock them out on your turn, you can't use Power Spray.

You cannot use Power Spray because Fainting Spell does not occur during your opponents turn.

Ectoplasm, like fainting spell, occurs during your turn when you knock out the defending pokemon. Since power spray is used during your opponent's turn, you can not use it to negate the actication of that poke power.
