'Primal Clash' Whiscash [12/5]

Like I already mentioned, I think this could be a fun combo with Reshiram and Zekrom. I know a few people who have tried things like Dugtrio or Cacturne with Outragers, so this seems like a cool idea...

Whiscash joined the Clash! I don't have anything to say about the card, just had to say that ryhme.

Having been playing the TCG for over 2 years, I never even knew a Whiscash existed. Must be what happens when there's over 700 Pokemon.

I have to say I kind of like this Whiscash. Neat attacks (never did like the drawback of Earthquake, but meh, what you gonna do) and cool artwork. Wonder what this means for Barboach.

I'm getting a little worried about an overload of these ancient traits. I'm not too excited about them if there is going to be soo many.

Pokemon is stepping up their art game man, I'm loving this card art!

I guess I'll just collect the ancient arts (yes that's what i call them) from this set.
and i need it even more in reverse just, wow.

I have to agree bbninjas, it seems like these ancient traits are getting everywhere. It's a little much imo.

The thing I'm worried about is how its going to affect the game. I seems a bit... unnecessary. It also seems like that abilities like Deluge are going to lose a lot of value. Not to mention some cards will take so little time to set up now, it'll be ridiculous.

My favorite ancient trait art by far. Not to complain or anything, but the card would've looked that much cooler if the attacks required Lightning instead of Water. I've always liked the cards that have different energy requirements than the actual type. Maybe that's why I like the Dragon types so much?

All these Deluging Traits.... YveltalEX is going to slaughter them if they ever try to become popular.

Wow, in two turns you can do 120 damage. Definately the best artwork of any 3/4 art so far and I'm not a fan of these cards. Whiscash looks so legendary here. The detail on the seafloor/bed looks so good as well.

Also the only thing I don't like about this Whiscash card is the black part in the trait section that is pushed outside the boundary of the frame on the right.

I maybe wrong but It seems to me that these trait cards only appear as reverse holos?

Looks like 1/3 to maybe a 1/4 of this set will have ancient trait cards, judging by what is revealed so far.

My prediction continues to be true as thing stand about alpha traits only for water pokemon and omega traits for all land based pokemon. Flying will have Delta later on.

Sure there are 160 cards in Primal Clash. How many of them will have the ancient trait? On top of that, I would be very surprised if ancient traits didn't stick around after this until at LEAST the end of the XY era. Who knows how many expansions that will be. And if, like EX pokemon, they continue on for next few years...this is one of the reasons why ancient traits could become too much

No I think Ancient Traits will only stick around for 2 more sets. We still need Delta traits from Mega Rayquaza. Which might be the next set.

Alpha Growth should never, EVER, be given to a Basic Pokemon...

...Hydreigon/Aromatisse...

...shiver...

Seems like not all mons with ancient traist will be that good like e.g. Sceptile or Swampert, like it seemed, when those two were revealed. These attacks are avergage; under average when we work with the fact, it is a stage 1, which evolves from a potential useless basic Barboach (which, imo, may have something like [C] random attack name 10 damage and about 60 or 70 HP with RC 1–2)… although that art is made very well. Some of those ancient traits mons are good only for their artworks.

forget playability, I can appreciate a set where the likelihood of getting sexy cards you actually want to look at is higher, UNLESS these new half art are replacing what would normally be the ratio of holos, cuz otherwise you just upgraded the holos and kept the same ratio of boring non holo crap art rares which is LAAAME
