We saw Chinchou in the commercial so I'm also predicting a Lanturn 'Ancient trait' card in this set as well. It will have 'alpha' trait but Lanturn will be electric.
At the moment they are just give all water type, water based pokemons 'alpha' traits so I think Lanturn will change this along with some other pokemon which is waterbased but a different type, like Ludicolo grass or something. No other pokemon comes to mind at the moment which is based in water areas but isn't entirely water type.

The biggest question I have is this:
If an Unevolved Pokemon has a Trait, will the card it evolves into have a Trait as well?
To make this a bit more clear, look at Electrike. Will Manectric from that same set feature an Omega Barrier Trait as well?
I assume yes, since these FA cards aren't technically any more difficult to print. They don't all have Holofoil Patterns, so the only different thing about them is that the image is drawn in a Portrait Aspect, rather than a Landscape Aspect.

I'm really liking how these Ancient Trait cards look, I wonder how many they'll be, and if they'll have a certain pull ratio (like one per pack, or one every other pack) but that probably depends on how many they have.
Why are we getting so many leaks/scans of the English cards compared to the Japanese cards? The Japanese set comes out in a week, and we've seen more English scans. I'm just curious about that

I do hope that Lanturn is playable at the very least. The only great Lanturn card ever released was Lanturn Prime, which was a Feraligatr Prime Combo.

Very poor indeed. Once the hype about the ancient trait mechanism and the artwork dies down there won't be any redeeming qualities about this card left.
There are better cards out there that do 120 damage on the cheap, without the drawback of damaging your bench. And if you were playing around the strategy of damaging your benched outragers there are also better alternatives.
Yes you can power it up in two turns but once it gets OHKOD, 4 energy down the drain, literally.

How can you barely read the text? The text's outlined with white, making it stand out, not blend in.

Yeah, I'm really wondering what the pull ratio for these cards will be and if will be able to be reverse holos? Really hoping they are not in the rare slot as it would make it harder to pull holos and EXes. Since there seem to be so many of them I don't think they will be in the reverse slot either. I'm hoping we will have a rare slot, reverse slot and a ancient Trait slot in the boosters
Or maybe they can increase the holo pull ratio til at least 50%! Then I would be okay with the rare antient trait cards being in the rare slot.

To be fair, the scan does make things a bit more difficult to see due to the reverse effect.
I'm sure they'll be easier to read in hand.

How many ancient trait cards are there so far? I know we'll know more by the end of this week, but I'm hoping you'll either get a holo or an ancient trait card in each pack, maybe like in LT when you were able to get a regular rare and a holo as well (minus when the pack would contain an EX, FA etc.) But that's probably some high hopes x)
