Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre Collections in March [12/17]

Must have Primal Kyogre.
I wonder what sets it will come with. Probably the ORAS sets, but whatever. xD

This makes up for the lack of a Mega Gengar collection >:'D

Well, to be fair, there wasn't any Gengar cards from Black/White to reprint, and there WAS the GameStop Spirit Link bundle.

Well I mean with a figure and stuff.

I was looking forward to a Mega Gengar one :'C

or at least some release of the shiny card.

While there was no M. Gengar EX to do anything special with, as TokenDuelist already mentioned there was a shiny Gengar EX card in Japan that we never got. They could have done some special botique product with that. Maybe along the lines of the past boxes where we got a jumbo M. Gengar EX, the shiny Gengar EX, four packs or so, and the figure.

The article says it will come with a Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre figure and a special holo of the featured Pokemon. Does that mean we're getting some alternate art print of M. Primal Groudon EX and M. Primal Kyogre EX or are we getting alternate art cards of the Groudon and Kyogre that are in the theme decks? My guess of course is the latter honestly.

Seems like the more liable choice, since that would be moreso on the lines of the Xerneas/Yveltal collections. The one question I have is what the Kyogre/Groudon cards will be. There is that rare chance they could be from Double Crisis, but it seems that won't be the case. I know that Double Crisis comes out in Japan in Januaray, a month before Primal Clash, but it just seems like that wouldn't be the case here. That Heliolisk October Gym Challenge promo wasn't in Phantom Forces, even though it released a month prior and 2 Helioptiles were in Phantom Forces.

It would most likely have to be from the Aqua/Magma crisis set unless the cards that will be in our Primal Clash theme decks are Japanese promos. We already know the cards that are coming out in Gaia Volcano/Tidal Storm and there were no regular Kyogre and Groudon cards in there. These I believe must be some of the extra cards in our English set as opposed to their set.

Of course as far as I know we have yet to hear about any promos being released with Gaia Volcano/Tidal Storm,

Listen, guys. I don't want Double Crisis to be a part of Primal Clash. The combined set total for Gaia Volcano and Tidal Storm alone is over 140 cards, and a total of 32 Ultra Rares/Secret Rares. Adding an entire Sub-set to it, along with the chance of individual promos will turn this set from being one of the best sets over to being just 'good'. XY had a lot of great cards, but was hampered down by awful pulls, and I hope this set doesn't get tainted by it. Besides, Primal Clash's set description says that only 2 Megas and 2 Primals will be in it, reducing any chance of Double Crisis being in it.

Double Crisis will be in Emerald Break, I predict

That's a fairly strong prediction. After looking back at the English leak for Wailord-EX, I noticed, as someone already said, that it's number is 147. Count backwards twice due to Trevenant-EX and Camerupt-EX and you'll see that the FA's start at 145, meaning that about only 4 new cards will be in Primal Clash, and 2 of those are the new Groudon and Kyogre. Still, there's always the chance that The Pokemon Company International could pull a 'Boundaries Crossed' be not putting certain cards from GV/TD into Primal Clash and saving them for a following set, but I'm not convinced.

You know another option, however unlikely, could be to release the Aqua/Magma mini set as a mini set here as well. It might not be like Japan's, they would probably be more likely to do it the way they did the Southern Islands collection so long ago or the more semi recent Dragon's Vault.

It is just as plausible that it could be Emerald Break. Of course if that happens I doubt they will release them as a mini set like they did Radiant Collection in Legendary Treasures, it's more likely they'll just be incorporated into the main set plain and simple.Though I would think that could cause complications as well with megas and EX's if the mini set has them, and I think they have to at least have M. Sharpedo EX and M. Camerupt EX based on there original EX forms appearing in Tidal Wave/Gaia Storm/Primal Clash.

Personally I don't want these cards to be in Primal Clash either, it's already going to be a major headache to get all the card I want as it is, and I'm sure alot of other people (like those wanting to build decks and hardcore collectors) will say the same thing, but we have no proof this won't happen either. Right now all we can do is hope, because we just don't know.
