Discussion Prismatic Evolutions Prospective Setlist (SV8.5)

Seeing that the number of cards in this set is 131, this will mean that as long as the reprints do not become part of the set, we should be alright regarding new cards, otherwise some of the cards will be carried forward to March's set.

Leafeon is 006
Glaceon is 026
Espeon is 034 - If theres only like 3 spaces between it and Jolteon, then i dont think all of the Start Deck Gen cards are making it in unless its half new half reprints
Sylveon is 041
Umbreon is 068?

The poster also shows the Eeveelutions from 151 and TWM so they're most likely being reprinted in this set too.

any luck with the numbers for the SIRs? I've tried but got nothing lol

If the set is around 175 cards and the main set is 131 then that would only leave about 44 slots for secret rares which doesn't make sense because the set information includes 32 SIR's, 12 Ultra Rare Trainers and 5 golds which add up to 49 and that's not including the however many illustration rares we end up getting.
If there’s 49 secret rares that would put it at 180 cards in the set, and they always say “more than [insert number] in the set” and they wouldn’t be able to say more than 180 since it’s exactly 180.

180 cards doesn't take into account the Illustration Rares that we are getting but that they didn't divulge how many. That's why they're saying that it doesn't make sense what the release says with the number of cards we are getting. We should be getting more than 180 cards, so it's kinda weird that they decided to phrase it as "over 175".

Don’t know how I forgot about the IRs. Yeah, that is weird. Maybe they’re included in the set for some reason?

Another thing I noticed is we have 7 Pokémon between Umbreon ex and Eevee ex, and we know Eevee is #075, so Umbreon can’t be #068 since there would be 6 between the two if it was.

That just means that not all of those cards are going to be in the set, as we already suspected, since the set is supposed to have only 10 regular exs and the Generations decks have 18.

where's the Scraggy Line from a gym promo as it is only ones from TWM Gym Promos left

Maximum Belt, Scoop Up Cyclone, Prerelease Bouffalant, Iron Thorns, Tin Iron Crown, and Box Palafin are all slated to come back.

Iron Crown is currently in Surging Sparks. I can't see them rereleasing it somehow. I think that all of the reprints will be cut from the set like the Eeveelutions were, even if they have alternative art. We know that they will be released as Promo cards, the o lyntwo we are not sure on are Espeon and Umbreon, which we will have little to no info on until the new year. The only card that is yet to get a regular card (dubbed "Baby card" by the users of this forum) in the TCG is Hydrapple.

As in the Iron Crown ex from our September tins.

Hyped for the Glaceon ex. Glaceon's underrated in comparison to the other Eeveelutions imo.
Not hyped for how empty my wallet's gonna be.

I hope the rest of the SIRs are interesting. Obviously the Eeveelutions are the most important part of the set, but I'm curious to know what the other Pokemon and trainers will be. I suppose one will be Ogerpon and another Terapagos, maaaybe Dragapult?? but beyond that I can't think of many more. And one of the trainers will be Amarys and from there the most used ones for the game probably??, that's where I'm lost since I'm not a player.

Yeah its honestly quite hard to predict. Ogerpon and Terapagos do seem quite likely anything else is up for grabs. Tera pokemon and playable ones might have a better chance but there always are wild cards sometimes they give to neither playable nor popular pokemon. And for supporters there's also Larry, so even if there are few new supporters I dont think we can asusume all of them will get a SAR

With Budew revealed recently, it means that the Babies yet to be released (as regulars) are Pichu (Ethan's Pichu ex doesn't count), Igglybuff, Tyrogue, Happiny, Munchlax, Azurill, Wynaut and Chingling. Baby Pokémon count as of Budew reveal: Eight down, eight to go.

Maximum Belt, Scoop Up Cyclone, Prerelease Bouffalant, Iron Thorns, Tin Iron Crown, and Box Palafin are all slated to come back.
I don't know what you mean with "slated to come back". Just because a card is being reprinted in Terastal Festival it doesn't mean it's going to be reprinted in our set, specially cards that were already released as promos.

All of the Starter Deck cards have now been revealed. For this prospective set list, we only need to put the new cards in it, as a good majority of the cards in the decks are reprints.
