Ah my bad, I just expected the same as Mewtwo-EX when I saw the card.
When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.
When posting in a thread, be sure to explain all your suggestions thoroughly. Additionally, do not ask for advice in another member's thread.
Yeah good point Anyone been able to test the deck? I only have 1 Necrozma online?Looking at this decklist you really need to make more room for Field Blower. Otherwise you're just straight up losing to Ability Lock Garb.
I think I have the packs to get the three Necrozmas I need but I've been focused on other decksYeah good point Anyone been able to test the deck? I only have 1 Necrozma online?
yeah the tin will help, as it gives you 2 extrasI think I have the packs to get the three Necrozmas I need but I've been focused on other decks
Why would I run 2 of my main attacker? This list looks OK, but not ideal. I´ve been playing around with Metagross Necrozma (at local game stores) for a few weeks and I have some suggestions.
First of all, don´t play 4 Necrozma. That´s just a bad idea! I think 2 is ideal because it should be more of a tech card you have the option to use when it is beneficial. I also think a split of 6-5 psychic to metal or 5-6 would be much better- trust me. This deck should run like a normal Metagross deck, but you always can use Necrozma to hit those higher numbers.
Finally, I do like the use of Olivia and Koko promo here, but Hala I´m not too sure about. Not that it´s a bad card in this kind of deck, but you´re better off adding another Rescue Stretcher, Lele, or Choice Band.
Necrozma shouldn't be your main attacker because of the hefty Psychic energy discard of Prismatic Burst. The Metagross are enough as your main attackers because they can manually retreat between each other and Geotech System the energy back to circumvent Giga Hammer's drawback. Why would I run 2 of my main attacker?
Geotech refuels Necrozma, the point of this deck isn't to be yet another Metagross GX deck with a Necrozma tech, it's a Necrozma deck utilizing Metagross to recharge Prismatic Burst. Plus you didn't give me any real reason as to why Necrozma is a worse attacker than Metagross, and the only thing I can think of is Garb weakness. But use Metagross against the Garbs and Necrozma against Drampa/Espeon (so you don't risk losing a Geotech). Heck, it even can be beneficial against Gardy, despite losing weakness, it makes Gardy need one more energy to KO Necro than Gross (assuming he just used Giga Hammer, thus having 3 energy)Necrozma shouldn't be your main attacker because of the hefty Psychic energy discard of Prismatic Burst. Geotech System can charge up Necrozma, true, but what if you don't have 3 Metagross ready and Necrozma is stuck in the active? That's what I'm worried about. Manually attaching energy could be slow at times when you don't have your Metagross set up.Geotech refuels Necrozma, the point of this deck isn't to be yet another Metagross GX deck with a Necrozma tech, it's a Necrozma deck utilizing Metagross to recharge Prismatic Burst. How is this any different from using Metagross? You still need 3 Metagross...Geotech System can charge up Necrozma, true, but what if you don't have 3 Metagross ready and Necrozma is stuck in the active? That's what I'm worried about. You can use Algorithm to help pull out any missing pieces. There's the risk of being N'd, though. How is this any different from using Metagross? You still need 3 Metagross...
As mentioned earlier, I can't, I only have 1 :/You can use Algorithm to help pull out any missing pieces. There's the risk of being N'd, though.
I don't think you seem to agree with me or @Alakazam90125 on how many Necrozma you run in the deck. Try a build with 2 Necrozma and another build with your 3/4 and see which deck runs better.
You can try to trade for the other copies or get lucky with Burning Shadows packs. Once you do get a hold of more Necrozma, I'd recommend testing the variants I mentioned. As mentioned earlier, I can't, I only have 1 :/
Yep, Out of packs, so I'm having trouble trading for them right nowYou can try to trade for the other copies or get lucky with Burning Shadows packs. Once you do get a hold of more Necrozma, I'd recommend testing the variants I mentioned.
Well, Necrozma really shouldn´t be your main attacker. I´ve played around with this deck for a while and do not recommend playing 3 or more Necrozma. Metagross should still be your main attacker- otherwise, you are basically just using a stage 2 support which is impractical.Geotech refuels Necrozma, the point of this deck isn't to be yet another Metagross GX deck with a Necrozma tech, it's a Necrozma deck utilizing Metagross to recharge Prismatic Burst. Dicidu/plume tried to get 4-5 Stage 2 lines out as supportsotherwise, you are basically just using a stage 2 support which is impractical.
Decidu/Plume had FOGP, Revitalizer, Level Ball, etc. to grab the pieces anytime/anywhere and play them instantly. Metagross GX can play quickly, but it needs to be focused on Metagross GX. Necromaza GX is an excellent glass cannon being able to deal OHKO's if set up properly. Metagross GX with it 250 HP is able to take a hit, retreat, and heal with Max Potion so it can do it again. That being said Necromaza GX is still a key part of the deck with a 2-3 count. It can dish out OHKO's when needed, but it can also apply pressure to EX/GX Pokemon with Black Ray GX. Using that, it brings every Pokemon into Metagross GX's knock out range without trading knockouts.Dicidu/plume tried to get 4-5 Stage 2 lines out as supports
Not really, how is getting 3 Stage 2s in a Gross GX deck much easier than getting 3 Stage 2s and a basic (which allows you to retain the 3 stage 2s consistently)Decidu/Plume had FOGP, Revitalizer, Level Ball, etc. to grab the pieces anytime/anywhere and play them instantly.
