DPPt/HGSS Probably irrelevant now but...

I haven't beat Red yet, but I am planning on using Stone Edge with T-Tar and also using Metagross to resist stuff.

Beat the game in a few days.It is short and you could probably defeat the entire Johto half in a day or so.

i was super mad at Lance's ten gosh darn Dragonites. You beat one with one hp left and POOF! theres another. I, having not played the originals ( yes, i know it's a crime punishable by death) thought Heart Gold was a challenge. My friends breezed through it, ( darn you Feraligatr) of course, using their precious blue aligators. Well, live and learn.

Its cause were all older and thus forth thinking our strategies through more than when we were younger. At least thats what I think its going on for me.

i borrowed Crystal from a friend and i can say that the remakes were easier. it might be because im more skilled, but i think its because the wider variety of moves and pokemon.

HGSS is completely easier than G/S/C due to -

* Larger variety of Pokemon
* Larger variety of attacks
* Larger variety of different different items

I personally never trained at all because I knew training was gonna kill the fun. When I got to the Elite 4 my Feraligatr was only Lv. 49 others were like 45 to 48 range.

it could be because we all had ten whole years to get used to the games. We know how they work now so we just breeze through them.

Yeah they were too easy my starter beat Whitney and I used Stockpile on Lanturn 3 times and then started to sweep Red.
