Yes, once you request when a position is open in the waiting list it will be counted as your first request of the seven-day period.

A bit of unfortunate news- I won't be able to get to your requests until tomorrow night since this week has been an extremely, academically, busy week. However, with the weekend arriving, I will be able to get all requests done in no time ;D
