RE: Project Custom 2-Some basic info and announcements

OOOO BABY I am soooo ready. Never been in an art competition. This'll be so fun.

And you know George2FRESH has been practicing :D

Lookin forward to the kick off date and start of the competition. WOOT!

BTW: So what are all the dates for everything? Like the Kickoff Show, the first competition, I need to know so I know when to sign on.

Also, my computer is a bit slow (it's very old), so during the kickoff show if I'm not active for awhile, it's probably because I had to reboot. Haha

RE: Project Custom 2-Some basic info and announcements

Yay! PC is back! Hopefully, I can perform just as well, if not better than I did in PC1. And ooooo... tough lot here. I expect this to be a fight to the finish. I see many people on that list that I've seen works of (and are probably better than me, too lol). I look forward to the start of this competition!

Just a little bit of advice to you George2FRESH (and everyone else who doesn't know); always save your images as PNG. Not only will it look better (and provide the option of transparency), but you may lose points for saving as JPEG in this contest.

RE: Project Custom 2-Some basic info and announcements

Remember that this is not a Spriting or Fake Card tourney....those WILL NOT be in here. PC is covering the main forms of art: Trainer Cards ,Banners, Avatars and Fanfics are the main things. You are welcome to use Hand-Drawn stuff but it wont be counted as anything extra.

Hey B-Ray
What if you save it as JPG on Purpose?
Will you still lose points?

RE: Project Custom 2-Some basic info and announcements

Yes, JPG has a lower qulity(I think I spelled that right) then PNG. You would lose points.

Crap, I am going to have to remember to go to PE also. OK well, can I have a link so I can bookmark it?

RE: Project Custom 2-Some basic info and announcements

I'm looking forward to this even though I don't have Photoshop on my laptop. Does anyone know how to move programs from one computer to another one so I can work on this stuff in my room?

Hopefully I won't forget about the Meet and Greet thing. We have to register on PokeEarth right?

A Stick Drive would be the logical way....of course you could use Mega Upload and e-mail it to yourself.

All Artists and Judges have to register on PE for Project Custom 2 unless theres a major problem, which they're shouldnt be. Weather or not Fans choose to is up to them....but there will be alot more on Earth than on Beach....its like going to the event or watching the highlight reel.

I put a link to register on the first post. You can bookmark the forums main index once you get there :]

I'm not sure how to get the files onto my flash drive...I tried it before and it didn't work. How would I go about emailing the programs to myself?

Try uploading them to www.megaupload.com and then e-mailing them to your laptop computer. If that dosent work, Im out of ideas :/

RE: Project Custom 2-Some basic info and announcements

Hi!
Looking foward to this a lot, seems like a good selection of artists, and everyones going to have a lot of fun and a big challenge!

Noob Sandwich:
How big is the photoshop folder? If you can move the folder to another pc and click photoshop.exe inside the folder it should work... The photoshop folder should be something like C: Program Files/Photoshop or C: Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop. Right click and select properties to find out how big it is. If it is too big you might have a trouble...

I registered on PokeEarth Black Rayquaza. It just says "Thank you for registering on PokéEarth.com Forums, Yakkov. Your registration must be activated by an administrator. Until then, you may not be able to post on these forums."

Are you the administrator there for the contest?

Zip it (compress it) in Winzip then burn it onto a disk.

Or actually...just use thee disk you used to originally install and install it on the laptop!
