Promo Card Catalog and Scans

Just thought I'd mention this, since they seem to be fairly new and I haven't seen any mention of them yet. I was at a local store today and saw some Stage 1 Evolution blisters for sale. 3 different types: Vulpix/Ninetails (HGSS), Natu/Zatu (UL), and Gliscor/Gligar) (UD). Each Stage 1 still had the regular logo for the set, but featured a broken glass holo. Each one came with an Emerging Powers booster pack, and something else that looked like a sampling pack. I didn't end up buying any at the time, but I'll likely end up picking up all 3 next time I'm out, if people want scans.

Updating with some more information about the blister packs.

The packs retail for $5.49, at least at the place I found them (Meijer). Each pack comes with a shattered glass holo Stage 1 (Ninetails, Xatu, or Gliscor) and it's matching basic pokémon, a pack of Emerging Powers, a Sampling Pack for Black & White, and a code card.

All scans will be linked at the bottom of this post, for any interested parties. I've also included a scan of the image (non-code) side of the code card. It seems like the code card will unlock one of the Stage 1s, based on the picture, but I don't play PTCGO, so I haven't used one.

Another interesting thing to note is that the Ninetails and Vulpix cards are errors. Each card (both linked below) has the Undaunted logo instead of the HGSS logo. The set numbers are the same. I didn't notice this until I got home, so I don't know if all the Ninetails and Vulpix cards are this way or not.

I picked up a set today also.
Yes, the set symbol on the Ninetales and Vulpix is wrong on mine too.
I went back and checked the rest, looks like they are all wrong.

Does the Ninetail's art work pretty well with the shards? I've always loved it so it would be nice to get another version if it does.

Yeah, it looks pretty cool, at least I think so. Especially with the background.

A few more alternate holos to add onto the list: BW Klingklang and EP Gigalith. Both are shattered glass holos with their original set symbols and are available (along with their pre-evolutions) in Next Destiny 2 pack blister packs. The blister packs themselves are larger, like the photo on the homepage shows for the Dark Explorers 2 packs.

Thanks. I picked them up also, I just have to upload the scans. I am behind with all the work travel the last 3 weeks

I was wondering do you have or can take pics of the package where you saw these at or can you tell me if they have these at Walmart or Target?

I haven't seen them at Walmart, but I have seen them at Target in the regular TCG section towards the front of the store. Unfortunately, my packages have been long disposed of now, so I can't show you a picture, but they looked more or less like the regular promo blister packs that come with a couple cards and one pack. The cardboard part of the packaging was all bright colours with a texture pattern. My local Meijer still has them on the shelf, or at least they did when I was there earlier today. Next time I'm there, I can take a crappy cell phone photo for you if you still want it, though it probably won't be for a week or so, since I don't go shopping all too often.

When i have the $ i'll send a PM :) id have it this week but im getting the Pre Release Altaria card this week if Professor Oak if they still have one this Friday :)

I'm not sure if the Japanese promo list just hasn't been updated in a while or if the recent promos are unknown (last shown BW promo is 120/BW-P Pikachu), but just in case of the latter:

159/BW-P is Full Art Zekrom EX. Art is the same, but it has the promo star. If a scan is desired, I can provide it if asked.

What numbers are the new Victory Cups?

I would assume they have different numbers since the ones from last year have a 2011 stamp on them.
