Proper Way to Shuffle?

Good point, I think I'll start doing this from now on.
 
All you have to really do is put your prefered starting hand in a pattern that each card is 6 cards away starting at the top of your deck. Do a 6 pile shuffle, and cut the bottom 7 up. That's probably why it's not aloud.
 
and if someone had a problem with that type, they could just ask the judge to shuffle right? or is that not allowed...?
 
Yes, that is in fact allowed.
Just do 7 piles and you're safe though. I don't think a lot of judges care for the rule but you might wanna check with your local one, just in case.
