Ruling PUT DAMAGE COUNTER

i have a few problem about gengar's shadow room.

does it affect ressistance, weakness or any other effect like probopass la pokebody when it does shadow room to the active pokemon.

hope you all can help.

Placing a Damage Counter isn't effected by Weakness, Resistance, or any other effects on the defending Pokemon. Placing a Damage Counter also doesn't activate extra effects like Gengar and Dusknoir Lv.X.

Just so you know though, Damage Counter placing attacks are prevented by Unknown G and poke-bodies such as Bibarel's Unaware or any other cards that say "Prevent all effects of an attack, excluding damage, done to this pokemon."
