Quad Heatmor

Still do not like loading up on non-energies in a deck like this. I could see 3 Catchers and 3 Ether, but any more than 10 non-energy in your deck is a waste.

No. You should have 3 catchers if any at all.
But 3 Ether 3 Catcher or 4 Ether no Catcher is fine too.

And the reason is.

3 Catchers, 3 KOs, 6 Prizes.
2 Catchers, 4 KOs, 6 Prizes.

Less work and resources and TIME.

I'm considering adding catcher (taking out a level ball or two). There are times when I really hate not having that in this deck.

I actually ran pokedex before I ran level ball and skyla (4 ether 4 pokedex 4 heatmor 48 energy). It wasn't the best card, but if I'm going to run more trainers, it might work. The biggest hassel with this deck is deciding how many trainers to run. You run too little, you lose consistency, but if you run too many, you're not going to be OHKOing EXs which is kind of the point of the deck. Pokedex allows you some control over what you discard with fiery licks. Even then, I'd want to run no less than 40 energy (45 being ideal).

Yeah, a Catcher or two in Heatmor is still good since most things in this format will retreat/Rush out of Luring Flame.

You run AT LEAST 24 energy of each type with quadza, and AT LEAST 48 Fire with Heatmor. If you don't, you're not going to consistantly KO and will lose.
