Ruling question about prereleases

my mom is hopping to run her first prerelease but doesn't know how is there i special way to sign up for a prerelease on go-pokemon? thanks in advance
 
i've been to a couple prereleases and we just show up and the organizer jots down whoever is there.

idk if go-pokemon does anything besides give dates and times for the PR's

If you don't know what you're talking about you don't need to post.

It means Pokemon Tournament Organizer. You can't just be a TO, you have to get the event sanctioned so they'll send you the packs.
 
so start a tournament and call it Supreme Victors prerelease and price it at 25$ and other stuff and then verify it and if it gets verified they send us the stuff?
 
I don't know, look in the organize a tournament page. I'm not an organizer, ask someone who is and knows what they are talking about. All I know is you have to get it sanctioned.
 
You must apply on the official pokemon website. I am not posting the link to avoid a rule violation. I can't remember if you have to be 18 or 21 off hand. You do have to be a regular Tournament Organizer for a while though.

You don't have to be a professor, but you need to have a good understanding of the game and its rules. My PTO isn't s professor.

Slightly off topic:If your mom is a League Leader, she should be able to join the professor forums. Accounts have to be individually approved so it may take a few days after registering to access the professor forums.
