Question Regarding AMU

Hi there,

I have recently heard of a deck called AMU and all I really know about it is it has the 3 pixies in it (funny that) can someone that knows the deck give me an insight in to what is in the deck and its machups vs other decks.

Thats actually a horrible list. And 2-2 of each is horrible (only one that is good with 2-2 is Uxie), all of the techs are bad and doesn't even mention the good techs such as Leafeon X.

You could also just tell him...
Also please note that the list given there is outdated and does have some trouble. Also AnthonyG, I feel that a 2-2 Mesprit line may not be the worst idea ever, just for better attacking consistancy. Leafeon, and Gardevoir are both decent options.

AMT: Sorry but its true. Not your fault it is. D:

DawnofXatu: Maybe not the worst idea but it is still pretty bad. Playing 3 Mesprit (Regular) is a must. 1 Gives you free retreat while the other 2 stops powers, which especially now, is beast. Also this isn't really the best place to be giving out deck list and such since this is the wrong forum

Not a whole list, it isn't against the rules if you were to give him the basic lines, and mention some techs. However the trainers and the energies are his own problem. I will say that Mesprit is good either way, but actually attacking is more important than a power lock.

I would go for 3-1 of Azelf and 3-1 of Uxie, and 2-2 Mesprit just for better attack consistency. Better than having to recycle Mesprit X all the time.

It should be:
3 Azelf (2 LA, 1 MT)
3 Uxie (2 LA, 1 MT or just 3 LA)
2 Mesprit (1 LA, 1 MT)

There really are no techs to the deck, just straight pixies. I ran through a few techs and right now I'm just playing Gengar. Works pretty well with Azelf.

But if you're wondering what AMU actually is, it's a deck that consists of the 3 Pixies. All of them have useful powers. You can check the Legends Awakened or Mysterious Treasures deck list for which ones you want to use. Once you get all three of them out, you have to be consistent on being able to Supreme Blast (Mes. X's attack) turn after turn. It's possible, as I pulled out 5 Supreme Blasts in a row. =] Uxie is your draw power, Azelf is your tech for no weakness and can be used to snipe off things, and Mesprit Lv. X is your main attacker.

The ones that are good at my place plays this. Crazy but it works. Good.

2-2 Mesprit{One from each set}
2-1 Azelf{Ditto}
2-1 Uxie
1-1 Palkia
1-1 Mewtwo
2 Unown G

4 switch
4 warp point
4 premier ball
4 energy switch
2 snowpoint
1 moonlight

The rest you should figure out yourself. My list isn't that relevant. There should be a few mistakes here and there.

that set up is similar to mine, except I still leave Mesprit at 1 Lv. X, being I have other pokemon in the deck for win conditions...but the deck is mainly around those two...I'm not big on the switches, being you have Mesprit (MT)'s poke-body, and with Moonlight, that makes it even easier to retreat when needed
