...which can wall about 80% of decks when it has an Unown G attached but that is beside the point. My question isn't about its body, but its attack, Crush Claw.
The attack reads like this:

{F}{F}{C} Crush Claw 60
During your next turn, if an attack does damage to the Defending Pokemon (after applying Weakness and Resistance), that attack does 40 more damage.

I checked the Compendium about this and I got nothing. So what I'm really asking for is your takes on this. I have the following questions:

1) Is the effect over the Defending Pokemon, over Armaldo, or over my entire turn? (An example of a turn effect is Gardevoir-SW's Psychic Lock. If you use that, Claydol can't use Cosmic Power even while Guarded.)

2) If the Defending Pokemon retreats, evolves, or is Knocked Out, does the effect go away or not?

3) What about Unown G? If I use Crush Claw against a Pokemon with Unown G, do I get the extra damage bonus or don't I?

I plan on running an Armaldo deck sometime in the future (because he's an overlooked awesome card), and I want to know the answers to these questions because I don't want to end up getting in trouble at a tournament.

Thanks in advance to you guys who can answer me!

1) - the effect is on the Defending Pokémon

2) - All effects on the Defending Pokémon are cleared when you evolve, retreat, level up, Poké Turn / Warp Point.

3) - Unown G's GUARD does not prevent damage, so you get the added 40 damage (unless they do any of the above actions).

1. The effect is on the defending Pokemon.

2. Seeing as the effect is on the defending Pokemon, the effect goes away when you retreat, switch out your Pokemon, etc. as it is no longer the defending Pokemon upon doing so.

3. I am not entirely sure about this, but I believe it bypasses Unown G, seeing as Unown G cannot prevent damage. (I am awaiting confirmation on this.)

Edit:
Ninja'd. Amt was too fast for me. :D
