BW/BW2 questions about the video games

Hey all, I noticed there was no casual video game talk sub forum, so I figured I'd ask here.

1. Do we have confirmation that Black and White aren't region locked?

3. Has anyone heard of the site play-asia.com/ know if its legit?

What's question 2? Jk. It's been confirmed that the games will be region-locked only for DSi owners, so if you have a regular DS or DS Lite, you can play any version. As for your second question, I've heard a lot of people pre-ordering the games from that website. I've never used it, in fact I don't know a lot about it, but if lots of people are using it then I'm sure it's a legitimate retailer. ;)
 
I preordered white version from them. I got an email stateing that the game may not work in us systems and then it went on and on how this was just in case it does not work that you cannot return it to them. where did you guys hear that it will not work for DSI and only on DS? just wondering. thanks. how our inport games work. I cant wait untill spring to play.
 
Actually from what I know a DS can handle any region game provided it's compatible with a DS or DS Lite. Since Pokemon Black and White do not REQUIRE a DSi to run, they should not have a region lock.
