I know a 4-3-4 magnezone means you have 4 magnezone, 3 magnetons and 4 magnemites

If i wanted to put in magnezone Lx would it be 1-4-3-4?

You could write it like that or "4-3-3-1 Magnezone LV.X" meaning 4 Magnemite, 3 Magneton, 3 Magnezone and 1 Magnezone LV.X (this way is more used).
Also realize that you can´t have more than 4 pokemons with the same name including the LV.X so "Magnezone LV.X 1-3-3-4" (meaning 1 Magnezone LV.X, 3 Magnezone, Magneton and 4 Magnemite).
If there are more than one pokemon with the same name but of a different set you have to write it: "4-3-3-1 Magnezone LV.X (DP-SF#42-DP-LA)" or "4-3-2/1-1 Magnezone LV.X (DP-SF#43-SF#6/DP-LA)" meaning 2 Magnezone SF 6/100 and 1 Magnezone DP.
