Guiding Questions:
1. How does this card stand on its own (analyze the HP, attacks, Abilities, etc. of the card)?
This card boasts an impressive 170 HP, allowing to survive most attacks with relative ease. A retreat of one is amazing for an EX, and it's attack is decent, doing 100 for LLC and discarding three energy. The energy cost and discard would be considered poor, but its partnering pokemon redeem the energy cost, and a retreat of one means you can attach and bring out another attacker.
2. What role does/could this card have in the metagame?
This card is going to be awesome in Eelzone and Zekrom decks by giving them something really dangerous: the ability to snipe. Doing 100 to the bench is a viable concept in and of itself, but pairing it with pokemon that already hit the active really hard, and you have a dangerous combination. This is doubly useful to decks like Eelzone and ZPST, since they now have a solid answer to the Truth matchup. Pair that with Eelektrik getting all the discarded energy back, setting more attackers, while a retreat of one makes for a seamless transition to a benched attacker, and you have a really good sniper. Fitting it into decklists might be tricky, but I think worth it.
3. What cards, if any, does this card combo with?
Eelektrik, since it can scoop up the energy and put it on other pokemon.
4. Give it a rating (out of 10), and explain why you have given it that rating.
I see this card as an 8.5 out of ten. Giving powerful electric decks the ability to snipe and wipe Reuniclus from the playing field is very useful. As most electric decks are also very aggro in nature, losing the two prizes is not a big a problem as it would be in a slower google variant, where this card would shine most against. I think this card has a lot of potential in our metagame, and might push Eelzone and ZPST over the edge in matchups.
