Hey! So I decided to put together a rain team for Doubles. I initially made it for Super Doubles at battle maison, but then I started playing on battle spot and would like to improve this team. Any advice in what can I improve?

Politoed @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 HP / 180 SAtk / 76 Def
-Surf
-Icy Wind
-Psychic
-Protect/Hypnosis

I don't need to say why this guy is here, pretty obvious. Icy wind is to slow down anything that can outspeed ludicolo ou Kingdra. I'm currently running hypnosis, if I can manage to put my opponent to sleep, it helps a lot, but that accuracy is a problem, should I go with protect instead?

Ludicolo @ Absorb Bulb
Ability: Swift Swim
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 SAtk / 4 Def
- Fake Out
- Surf
- Giga Drain
- Ice beam

I try to always par him with politoed, so I can get the sp. Attack boost from poli's surf. Pretty basic set, with plenty coverage with ice beam.

Manectric @ Manectite
Ability: Lightingrod/intimidate
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
- Protect
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
- Flamethrower

My mega of choice. Lightininrod take care of the attacks send in politoad's direction. Thunder is scary on the rain, and seeing that I use damp rock, it's almost always gonna be raining(unless another weather kicks in, but then I can use volt switch). Protect let me buy a turn to mega evolve.

Kingdra @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
- Protect
- Dragon Pulse
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam

My other swift swimmer. Hydro pump to hit hard under the rain. Ice beam for grass and other weakness and Dragon pulse over Draco Meteor cause I don't really like that status drop.

Scizor @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Technician
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 248 HP / 212 Atk / 48 Def
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
-Swords Dance
- Bug Bite

Again, pretty predictable set. Bug bite allows me to eat the opponent's berries and deal lots of damage, bullet punch for priority. I'm running weakness Policy just to see if it works, so far it's been helpful. Should I change SD for Knock of?

Sylveon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk / 180 HP / 60 Def / 16 Spe
- Hyper Voice
- Moon Blast
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball

Sylveon is just my filler, cause I don't really know what to put on my 6th slot. With sylveon, I would have two pokes with poison weakness, and no way to counter it(just the psychic from politoad, but not reliable) The EVs are so I can live a Jolly Kangas return, and outspeed Tyranitar. I don't know if I should maybe go with a Pixie plate, so I can't be locked when my opponent uses wide guard, and seeing as I will 99,99% of the time be using STABs move, ins't it better?

My main problem so far is with trick room teams and another weathers. Should I switch sylveon? What use instead?

Any suggestion is appreciated guys!

Swords Dance in doubles is meh. Change it for Feint to break opposing Protects.

Pixie Plate, Protect and Quick Attack or Helping Hand instead of Moonblast and Psyshock imo.

If you play on level 50, then 16 Speed EV:s is wasting 4 EV:s for no stat gain. Check all your EV:s on level 50.

Thank you! I'm gonna do that. I don't really know a lot about EVs, I'm new to competitive, what spread should I use then on lvl 50? And another thing, I know you sad feint, but is it better to use feint or knock off?

Back when I used rain teams, I ran Scarf Final Gambit Victini for all other weather inducers. Ik it sounds pretty silly, but most people don't expect it, (not that they should) and it works very well. If the opp doesn't have weather, you can always use it as a regular Scarf set. I'd recommend:
Victini @Choice Scarf
252 HP / 252 Speed / 4 Atk
Jolly Nature
-U-Turn
-Bolt Strike (hits slightly harder than Thunder and gets accuracy boost from rain)
-Final Gambit
-V-Create

The only thing not self-explanatory/not already explained is V-Create, and it's there as simply a filler that can be useful when you don't have rain up. The only thing about the set is that you have to be pretty sure your opponent isn't gonna switch (don't give him any reasons to do so), or else you'll Final Ganbit the wrong target.

Thanks for the idea, but I don't think I can get a jirachi with the right IVs and nature for this.

It's a Victini xD

hahah I don't really know why I said Jirachi, but my point stays the same, I have no ways of obtaining one. But thanks anyway! I'll think of something else.

A good alternative would be Staraptor, but Final Gambit isn't really needed on it since it already handles all weather inducers pretty well xD
