When you attach a Rainbow Energy to a {G} or {W} pokemon while Dawn Stadium is up, can the damage counter placed by Rainbow Energy be immediately removed by Dawn Stadium?

You do the effects of Rainbow Energy first, so you place the damage counter then heal with Dawn Stadium. So it does get removed right after the damage is placed.

That means that if that Pokémon is ten away from being KOed, it's KOed right? Since you place the damage first.

nope, because removing the damage is done right after doing the damage, thus before checking for KO's.

if i'm wrong, please correct me.

If two things happen like that at the exact same moment, the player is allowed to decide which action to perform first. So this allows you to keep yourself from being KOd or (in some weird instances) lets you KO your own Pokemon.

I could see doing it to knock out your Jirachi RR.

Jirachi's Power only works if it's knocked out by an attack.

I didn't actually have the card yet and I was just going off of memory, but now I see it does. Thanks.

does the rainbow energy remove 1 or 2 damage counters?
It doesn't remove any as it places one on the pokemon it is attached to.

^ dawn stadium removes damage.

Dawn stadium removes one damage counter, exactly offsetting Rainbow Energy's damage counter placement.
