Yes, you can evolve Omastar, Kabutops (EX), Aerodacty (EX), Cradily (EX) and Armaldo (EX) from their corresponding fossils. As a reminder, you CANNOT use rare candy on Kabuto (candy must be used on basic) and you must evolve Stage 1 Pokes normally.

I wouldn't call that detailed. Apart that you're missing a chunk of info that makes that statement half wrong. Mysterious Fossil while in your deck, hand and discard pile is classified as a trainer ONLY. It only counts as a Basic Pokemon when it is in play (i.e. when on the bench or active).
