Rare Mew Card to Release in China, Limited to Only 1,510 Copies!

Welp, safe to say I won't be able to get this card at all, really hope it becomes a promo or something in english

China continues to get all this cool shit we can’t have. TPCi needs release these internationally or at least in Japan where it’s actually accessible. They’re too cool to be region-locked in China. I need the shiny cardboard
China not willing to play nice in the sandbox with the rest of the world is the entire reason these are region-locked in China.

And there's where the confusion is. TPC and TPCI are not the same company!

eww artificial scarcity...

I might as well buy an industrial printer at this point
I think there is a difference to artificial scarcity and this. It’s essentially a price card you need to earn, something that is normal in the Pokemon TCG since day 1. Don’t get why you are that upset about this.

It does not appear to be that case. A lottery with "earned" entry is not a Tournament Prize nor a Participation reward.

On top of that, if you have any experience with chinese goods distributed via lottery, then you would know that it is absolutely dog shit. Extremely high volume of participants + abysmal stock = you aint getting shit. You can add a few zeros to the 1510 copies and it will still be a rare card amongst chinese players.

What? Talk about talking crap without knowing anything.

It's managed and printed by TPC in Japan. This is their strategy for that market.

"Psh, and here I sit with both the golden Pikachu from the 25th anniversary set and the gold ball. These are the only two cards in my entire 25th anniversary collection. The box says 'Japanese,' while the other cards are also Japanese, yet I can't get anyone to even look at them because they're Chinese."

.. thanks StockX

This Mew looks stunning. But I bet it will be super expensive. 😭

For me this simplified Chinese 151 is very confusing. The pullrates of the collect 151 state that there are no AR pulls. So I assumed that the other 3 AR Pikachus will not be in the promo boosters.
