Rarity distribution in AOR looks more forgiving than past sets

I just updated PTCGO today, and opened some trade-locked packs. I noticed how really forgiving they are when marking cards for rarity. The Non AT Golurk and Persian are both common rated, and the well received Bee Revenge Vespiquen, Flareon, Vaporeon, Ariados, and Whimsicott are all Uncommons! This strikes me odd in many ways, and it looks like it could rival even Phantom Forces in the distribution of strong cards given lower rarity...

Could this end up being a trend in future sets?

I can only speak for myself, but the Uncommon and Rares in AOR are more exciting than the EXs.

I also noticed the rarity distribution being pretty lenient in AOR. Namely when I first pulled a Malamar as a Common, who thus far has only been a Rare. That's quite a big leap!

Not complaining though. It's always nice to get playable cards at lower rarities. Easier to pull, cheaper to purchase, and it feels good to KO some rares with a common or uncommon. :p
