RE: Ready Aim Fire 10: Pokemon ~~ROUND 2~~ Ends on 9th at Midnight GMT
After the applause, the 15 competitors station themselves across the arena. Each Pokémon looks ready to strike.
As it so happens, Regigigas is the first to strike. Strange, because he's a bit of a Slow Starter; he must've been hit by a Simple Beam on the way in. The Pokémon trundles its way towards Articuno, who is too busy to notice due to posing for pictures. Once the distance between the too Pokémon is halved, Regigigas lowers it's head, which glows a blinding white, and charges, knocking Articuno flat. The crowd jeers, certain Regigigas is cheating its signature Slow Start ability.
The rest of the Pokemon, stunned by the quick Regigigas, unfreeze and start readying their moves. Altaria flies up into the clouds, camouflaging, trying to strike his target at just the right time. Meanwhile, Mega Gallade leaps towards Machamp like a graceful knight; the Superpower Pokémon is still showing the crowd his muscles. The blades of the knight, which the Pokémon moves in an arc, glow purple, pummelling down towards Machamp. Dust flies, and you see a human-like shape strike the thinner shape, which abruptly crashes to the ground, with Revenge. Altaria swoops from the sky, a pink orb formed in front of its mouth, which he launches super-effectively towards Gallade. Altaria, not realising Gallade is KO'd, is quite surprised when the Moonblast to hits the limp body for no effect.
Jolteon rushes across the raging battle scene with high agility, determined to destroy the clone of himself, likely created by some mad scientist *coughcharoncough*. You see Flygon pummel down towards Altaria, buzzing quite damagingly, landing a KO on the Humming Pokémon. Flygon has no time to celebrate as a Jolteon clone unleashes a terrifying Thunderbolt towards the Pokémon. The bolt somehow manages to bypass Flygon's immunity and rips the Mystic Pokémon to threads. The real Jolteon, noticing the scene, races behind the clone and unleashes a Thunder, intent to show its full power. The attack hits the clone right on target; the forged Jolteon explodes into shards of metal, ash and electricity.
In a corner, Ditto is trying to Transform. Sadly, no Pokémon really cared about it, meaning the Transform Pokemon couldn't live up to it's name and Transform. Overcome by stress, it faints.
Meanwhile, Magikarp can be seen making gulping noises directed at Feebas. Probably coaxing it to Tackle it, and cause Feebas to faint in the process. Obviously Feebas dislikes that option, as when Wobuffet comes around, it tackles the Patient Pokémon instead. Wobuffet defends with a safeguard, which manages to block the Tackling fish, KO'ing it instead. Magikarp, completely disappointed by the turn of events, Splashes around, but, as everyone knows, it does nothing. Roserade rules Magikarp unable to battle, causing the Pokémon to faint from horror.
Espeon, watching the battles, opts for Protect. He waits, and waits, and waits some more. No one attacks. And Protect fails. Goodbye, Espeon!
Diglett pops up and down from the ground, digging who knows how many traps. And no one notices him doing that. On the other side of the arena, Sylveon attempts to curl her ribbons while the paparazzi take a gazillion of photos without interruption.
Roserade declares the round finished, and the surviving Pokémon do whatever that pleases the crowd.
