Let me ask you this: why in Arceus's name do you care? You have no reason to be jealous of him nor should you even bother that he's a petty swindle with false things to brag about. You can just sit back and relax as you predict how much this is all going to come back and bite him in the future.

She's right...
Zyflair's a boy. :p
Anyway, just ignore him. it doesn't really affect your life that a annoying kid who's a n00b thinks he's the best trainer ever.

Ugh... I have one of those kids at my league... He thinks he's all that, that I annoy him too much (I say one word, and he rants about ME talking to much (RANTS!!!)), and wacks his head on the table during tournaments, allowing me to remove all the damage off of my Pokemon because he moved them so much and changed the numbers (Judges are good sometimes :D)...and I always PWN him whenever I play him...

I know exactly what those people are like...and I love to hang around them and PWN them over and over! It's so fun! That's what you should do; PWN him over and over, and if he complains of something, play him again and make sure it's obvious that you can't do what he said you did. If it happens again, then make sure he does the same thing as you are doing, and on the third, tell him "Okay, I'm not doing that, so if it happens again, then I'm telling on you!" This will make you enjoy yourself and make him quiet down. Then, prove that he's not all that... Ask a friend to Wi-Fi battle him (Like me!), and then I'll PWN him! I'm going to F.E.A.R. him! Maybe... Well, does he hack the stats, or just the Pokemon? If he hacks the stats, I wouldn't like to battle him that much... Just for fun, say that I'm ASH KETCHUM (Or however he's spelled...), if you want... Then I'll tell him that everyone is just as good as anyone else, and that he should stop trying to prove he's the best, because I'm not! XD This will be fun!

If he's pestering you, try this... It will give you something to do for a day... If you don't care, then just ignore him, but ^^^ sure seems tempting...

I agree with you Zyflair, but I had at least 7 kids like this in my Elementary school. (Small school, too. Hard to ignore anyone). I understand your pain. I would say stop trying to prove him wrong. Just stop. It's not like he's bullying you. Just stop trying to prove him wrong. You know he is, and he knows he is (from the sounds of it) so who else cares? His "friends" sure don't. They just hang around him for his stuff. Anyway, just know that I had at least 7 kids like this, and know what you're going through.

Geeze people it's simple, tell them that you can beat them at a game, they accept, and you pwn them horribly. They shut up =F

Do you people have this obsession over correcting others about my gender?

Thinking over what you've said, I believe the main course of action is to really just forget it all. Reaction is only caused by action. If you don't do anything to him, if you wait long enough, he won't do anything to you either. I see that seven kids is a pain to handle, but I believe that attitude can alter how severe any situation is. Good luck to the both of you.

Rip up his Pikachus and give him your Claydols.

Nah, you can either ignore him or beat him with a real deck against his Pikachu/Legendary deck.

dmaster out.

Oh we are? luelz

My case still stands. Rip up his team (delete it) and give him Claydols. Much better at setting up screens and tanking. Yeah, you can still beat him too.

dmaster out.

Er, hes talking about the game, take away his AR and relese all of his hacks and replace then with non hacks and just pwn him pwn him left and pwn him left pwn him to timbucktwo!! And show him no mercy! and rub it in his face every chance you get! Bwhahaha every day pwn him and rub it in his face LOL GL

OK, this thread does not apply to people who are new to pokemon. What I am saying is that I can't stand those kids who watch the anime, and freak out when they catch a pikachu, because It's "ash's" pokemon. The kid I am talking about is the "head" of a "group" of 9 year old noobs. He kinds of bullies them around, and makes sure he's the "leader" of the pack. You may start to be realizing the type of kid I'm talking about. 9, conseeted, loved by members, hated by the rest. My question, is that how do I teach him that getting a pikachu doesn't make you as good as "ash", and getting a legendary in a pack doesn't make you "the greatest trainer ever"! He is really stubborn, and when I tell him that just because he is the "champion" of the game, doesn't mean he's truly any good. I'm not saying this to complain, but I want to know how to teach the brat what real competitive playing is like. any suggestions?

Let him have his fun, good gravy. Kids can be annoying, but I think it's cute that he wants to be just like Ash and that he thinks Pikachu is amazing. That's really sweet. -w-; That may be girl sentimentality though.

Um, but my brother has friends who are cocky like I believe you mean; the trick is to leave them alone. I mean, you can comment on how, "Man, you're SO not the best." But that'll just make him more annoying. :| He'll retort, etc, so best idea is to let his parents handle that little attitude.

So let him be; I mean, you can do something, if you want, but challenging him or trying to best him would be lowering yourself. If you're 13, act like a mature adult, especially if you're babysitting him. Be the boss.

Wow... that's about the most pathetic thing I have ever heard, you really should find something better to do than to worry about the childish behaviors of a child :(

First of all... get out your PokeWhip... No, but seriously..
I know that kind of kid.

First of all challenge him to a "Pokemon Battle!"
And beat him. Tell him no one is really the "Pokemon Champion."
Ignore him when he complains or says otherwise. Maybe show him a couple wi-fi battles by Marriland, especially the one where
he fights Untouchable, the mega-uber-user.

Or, you can simply let him have his fun? He'll figure it out sooner or later.
We all used to want to be Pokemon Masters if we were young enough when it came out.

Oh I saw that fight with Untouchable and Marriland. Untouchable was probably a child thinking that he can beat Marriland with his uber Pokemon.

Every kid(/Teenager/Some adults/old person/debater/God/Customer) is always right. Do you not know this mentalitity? It is one that can not be shaken by words nor force.

Also, I find it ironic that you(Juliacoolio) started a thread about how annoying newbs are. Especially with all those grammar and spelling mistakes, and those an(n)oyingly repetitive Os.

it sounds stupid, but tell your mum you don't like that kid, and tell her the things he does, that way you can give him a smack in da face, if his mom goes to yours, your mom will understand.

or catch a pikashu, call it ash's pika and train it to level 100
tell him theres an event in japan, and that he should ask is friend from japan about it.

Are you sure you're not just jealous that he won't let you in his pack?

Conseeted = Conceited
btw

I know that ANTHY has an action replay... so just rare candy it instead of wasting 500000000000 hours training it:p

I'm pretty sure that Juliacoolo = Anthony but,

couldn't you just beat him with his pack around him so that they would know if he was the one that turned the game off? Also, couldn't you just show them your record of wi-fi battles?
