Alt. Format Red&Blue toolbox?

Hello everyone, I'm just recently coming back to the game after a long while. After seeing the card list for the next set coming out, I was really impressed by the potential Red&Blue Tag Team Supporter can have on the game. I have an idea but do not know how to go about it. The concept is that you use Red&Blue to toolbox stage 1 Pokemon GXs from the deck that can oneshot a majority of the Tag Team GXs or Pokemon GXs the opponent may be playing. To enable reach, Martial Arts Dojo is used to guaranteed these kos as an evolution deck you're usually playing from behind. Starmie GX and Lucario GX should be able to answer Reshizard, Darkbox, and Pikarom. Against Mewthree box, Gardeon or anything Malamar related, I'm stumped. Maybe Glaceon GX? idk. Any help will be gladly appreciated.

Here's what I have so far
3 Riolu (60/70 hp?)
3 Lucario GX
3 Staryu
3 Starmie GX

4 Professor Elm's Lecture/Professor Oak's Setting
4 Martial Arts Dojo
4 Red&Blue
x Tag Call

12 Fighting Energy
(Maybe split with Rainbow Energy to enable other multiple attackers?)

I love this kind of decks, even if they are often unviable :D
First of all, consider adding Green's Search too and Pokegear, in order to hit your main supporter as consistently as possible. Then, add Custom Catcher to ensure you prizes. Darkbox is not a meta deck, so it should not be a problem. Against Gardeveon, consider Melmetal Gx! With a Rainbow on, you can ohko it even without the stadium. I see Mewmew and Malamar as the hardest matchup tbh. Mewmew can be slowed down by means of Power Plant, but dealing with Malamar can be a little more tricky.
Let me know what do you think about that!

For Malamar, try 1 copy of UNM Hoopa or ULP Weavile, which usually can kill Giratinas and other Dark-weak Pokemon. Weavile can also deal with larger threats. For Pokemon with a psychic weakness, like MewMew, try a 3-3 line of Naganadel GX, with a 2/1 split between FRBL Naganadel GX and UNM Naganadel GX. The latter is a great source of card draw to discard extra Poipoles/Naganadel. Or you could just play 1 MewMew. Also, 4 Rainbow Energy is a must.

Thanks for the advice. :D I'll strongly consider it. I do worry that the extra attachments needed for Melmetal GX might be too slow for the match-up against Gardeon. But hey, that what testing is for! One card that came to mind recently is Alolan Persian GX. Theoretically, it should do well against Gardeon (unless they have Fairy Charm Ability/Power Plant up), Mewbox, and Malamar decks (Resistance makes ohko hard, can't knocked out by Espeon&Deoxys GX or Ultra Necrozma GX). Maybe 9 Fighting/3 Dark Energy split.

Hoopa, Weavile, and Rainbow Energy is a nice call. I'll try it out. Naganadel GX FRBL is a bit sketchy as it can't hit for weakness to enable kos. MewMew is also hard to run as energy acceleration to non-evolved GX pokemon is rather difficult for this build.

What about a line of alolan ninetales GX with some babies to counter garde?
Or just run it off your ditto (which should be in the deck).
Also great catcher, not custom catcher unless you go with the tales package.

Put an island challenge amulet and rainbow energy (along with one more energy) on a scizor GX and it swings for 160, which takes out Gardy. With stadium and behind on prizes it's 200, which is decent against non-tag team GXs. Banette GX with rainbow energy (shady move, then attack) takes out mew3, but sadly you have to find a way to get 10 supporters in discard for that to work. Or attach a fighting as well and you only need 6 supporters discarded, which seems more reasonable, especially if you play dedenne, or surge, or treasures, etc. Watch out for jirachi GX though, then you need power plant or you are 2 shotting. The new mimikyu from tag all stars combined with either a second shady move or something like a giratina ping could render jirachi useless, but the sequencing would be tricky (you'd have to play shady move from banette to mew3 before you put mimikyu in play). Mimikyu would also muck up scizor, so it's a double edged sword.

EDIT Another option for mew3 would be to play latios GX and a welder engine to get it up in one turn plus rainbow brush to switch in a fighting energy. If you attach a rainbow, and have mimikyu on your bench, you also turn off your own ability which in this case is a benefit. Counter gain could help in case you only get one attach with welder. If you are content to sack a 1 prizer and wait for a second manual attach, forget the welder idea but keep counter gain.
