I have no idea really. He seems like he would be a guy, but we've never heard his real voice. Since they've started showing the Freelancers without their helmets (York, North and South, CT) then we could possibly find out.

He's probably hanging on something like Grif was. Meta is such a tank though. Throughout that entire battle, he took like 3-5 knife wounds/stabs, Tucker's sword, shotgun shots from Sarge, being knocked down hard at the very beginning, and if he's still alive, falling off a cliff. Any normal person would be dead by now.
