Regirock Promo with Ancient Trait in 'CoroCoro Ichiban' [11/21]

This card is pretty mediocre. While the Ancient Trait is nice, Land Maker's only purpose would be to get more Stadiums into play for Primal Groudon-EX to lay the smack-down with. Stone Edge is pretty bad as well. Hopefully, Regice and Registeel are playable!

It seems like there are only a few traits shared by many pokemon. To me traits just seem like another gimmick for Ability, pokepower and pokebody, with it being different because many pokemon have the same thing. But it's actually okay since it counts as a third attack (I always count, Ability, Pokebody and Pokepower as an attack even though they aren't. At least from an opponents point of view, it has them thinking about that).

I don't like this new mechanic, there are Abilities, what are these things? And why only few cards have it? Meh... I'd rather see a Regirock-EX or Regice-EX, never printed in the BW era, instead of these useless cards..

Not really a fan of these new cards all getting the same few abilities. It's boring. But at least the art is nice.

I wouldn't consider his second attack bad at all. I may be overestimating it a lot but since FUF it's hard to consider a fighting pokémon a bad one. There are many ways this 80+ for 4 energies could turn in to a lot of damage. This set is going to be the greatest in a long time in my opinion, non-EX cards are finally getting a buff! I think it's really sad when people think EXs should get all the glory, I wonder how the big basics lovers would react if a ex/prime/level up like mechanic was brought back in the game. Anyways, I'm very hyped for this set.

Well, its second attack is bad, but still better than Gigalith PHF, which says a lot about the overall quality of the latest TCG sets.

I have no idea why, but every single time I look at these cards I like them less and less. I want to like it, and it's a pretty cool new way to do art that I would never have thought of, but they just don't look like Pokemon cards or something.

The first time I looked at them I didn't like it either, I like the cards as simple as possible. I just hope they don't turn into something like Vanguard, I don't even know what is happenning in those cards with all the colors and details. haha

Is it safe to say Omega traits are given to land pokemon. Alpha traits are given to Pokemon in/under water. Then we will have Delta traits for flying pokemon?

Seems like a decent theory. I wouldn't expect any Rayquaza cards to be in the Primal Clash set, though. Why? A Rayquaza Mega Battle event has been announced for Japan, starting around the same time as XY6 in japan. There was a Lizardon(Charizard) event similar to that around the time of XY2 in japan, so I assume that XY6 will focus around Mega Rayquaza. Maybe?

I am certain that Rayquaza will indeed have it's own 'set'...maybe in conjunction with Deoxys and I sure hope Zygarde. It annoys me we haven't seen hide nor hair of this Pokemon and it was officially released before Diancie and revealed long before ORAS megas.
