Relicanth GE: A Pachi for Fossil decks?

First attack is basically staple in Fossil decks. 2nd is a decent stall tactic. Decent HP for a basic Uncommon.

I'd snatch 2 Skull Fossils and a Fossil Excavator and be on my way.

Honestly, Rampardos is a good card, he just takes too long to set up and Fossils are too hit 'n' miss. I think Reli here makes Fossil decks playable.

Opinions? Strategies? Here's the definition of sleeper.

I actually do think Relicanth is a viable starter, but only good in decks that mainly revolve around Fossils. He does have decent HP, and heck, you don't even need an Energy to search for set-up Fossil cards. Not too bad Weakness/Retreat either. The second can be for stall, but it's not totally needed, and two energies is a lot just to speed up the process of the Fossils. He might see some play once the MD Fossils come out.

dmaster out.

Relicanth cannot search for Fossil Excavator because it is a Supporter & when a DP-on card states the word "Trainer", it only means Trainer. So, since Relicanth is a DP-on card, it can only search for Trainers, no Supporters & etc...

EDIT: I edited the sentence a little bit to make it clearer... :)

Ah... Thanks for the correction, guess you can tell who hasn't been playing his Fossil deck lately lol.

Still, it's a 7/10 for me, for Fossil decks.

No energy to snag 3 Fossils, then use Excavator to get your evolutions. Certainly makes Fossil decks viable.

You can use Relicanth to search for Holon Fossil's, you know. =D.

RE: Relicanth GE: A Patchy for Fossil decks?

Well, if you're running relicanth/rampardos then the stalling would help your rampardos set-up. Problem is, that your opponent would most likely wake up before he should.

Pity that the "stalling" takes 2 energy to do. Else that'd be viable.
