RE: Veteran's Day

don`t see why this is important enough to have a holiday about.

those people got scammed into the military and had to fight in the war. don't you think thats important?

RE: Veteran's Day

Thank you, Luacrio aura weilder, for not caring about my grandpernts who where nearly blown to peices in the Blitz. Thanks for not caring about my grandpa who served in the RAF. Thanks for not caring about two of my great grandmother who drove abulances in the war to try and save soldiers lives. Thanks for not caring about alll the people putting their lives at risk for you.

Rememberence day always touches me, and this year was no different. God bless everyone who has fought for us to be safe, and my thoughts are with all the soldiers who perished in the two world wars, and indeed all the wars until the present day.

[kanye west] How could you be so heartless?[/kanye west]

If your parents/grandparents died in a brutal war, wouldn't you think about them at least once a year? The people who died are brave enough to risk their lives for us, while we sit and type on a pokemon forum.

The only think I don't like is how it can be a bit biased. When veterans came in our school, it was so funny. It was this old grumpy dude in his army uniform. He was like; "I came face to face with one of those Viatnamese *******s. Funny enough, there were two Vietnamese kids in my class at the time, and I could tell they were offended. The kid later told me his Grandpa was in the war, but on the other side, so he hated all of it. I don't think it should be brought up too much at achool, but it's a good holliday.

What do you mean "scammed"? Most of those people CHOSE to go into service. Those people have a sense of self duty and want to fight for thier country. IDK where you got "scammed".

The reason you can sleep soundly without worrying about your house getting bombed is because of veterans. Did your comment give them the respect they deserve?

... I thought not.

RE: Veteran's Day

I think that the comment he said should have been kept to himself.

RE: Veteran's Day

Some people choose to become a soldier for completely no reason (well, the afghan war currently doesn't need the british to sort it out) and then die.

RE: Veteran's Day

Completely no reason? How about out of the love for their country? Yes, they die, but they die honorably because they ARE out there, they ARE risking their lives, because they feel as though it's their duty to protect those who can't protect themselves, like us back home.
