I think that magneboar is better adapted to many decks though because it can OHKO many pokemon. Magneboar could have a reshiram in it to attack too, since they can both use fire energies.

As proven by Rougechomp, Reshiboar with Magnezone tech is better than Magneboar with Reshiram tech
 
So then reshiram with magneboar as a tech is better? I always thought of it as once you lost burn a lot of energies with magnezone, then use fisherman and start to attack with reshiram. So in the reshiram deck is magnezone kind of like a last resort thing or used to quickly take the last few prizes? Well, I guess that is good.
