• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

Reshiboar (Reshiram/Emboar)

Hmm I see, i'd better take advice from someone who's had experience with this deck, I haven't really had any good practice at all. I'll try it, if it works, i'll stick to it.
 
im in masters devision, so my playing style is very different. but ive been playing this deck for a while now.
this is what works for me and i set up by turn 3 almost everytime

pokemon
4 -reshiram
2-1-2 emboar
2 shuckle promo
2-2 ninetales
1-1 RDL

the tss engine(ill just tell you what i use since i dont have the numbers here at work right now. its up to you to decide how much of each to put in and what works for your deck)
supp:
4 prof oaks
1 fisherman
3 pokemon collector

trainer:
dual ball
4 poke comm (crutial to getting out emboar and rdl)
junk arm
energy retreival
3-4 rare candy (crutial to get emboar turn 2-3
switch
super scoop up
maybe pokegear in case u get dead hands

stadium:
1 indigo plateau

energy:
10-14fire
at least 4 lightning
1- rescue
1-3 double colorless


my strategy:

1)get out a reshiram into active spot and a vulpix on bench.
dce is so that reshiram can attack ur first turn and can outrage dmg done by zekrom

2) get ninetales or shuckle in case u have a dead hand,
collector or dual ball for rest of your bench

3) get out emboar and inferno onto shuckle until u can pull out RDL

4) from here on, its pretty much game over for your opponent(mill through your prize cards with RDL. attach rescue energy to it so u can use it twice at least
reshiram to take on hits and also to deal out damage
emboar and shuckle to keep everything going
fisherman and energy retreival + junk arm will get back any energy you need
super scoop up anyhting damaged
switch anything that gets dragged out too early

That is ALOT different from mine, but i think i'll make these changes:
- 4 Energy
+ 2 Junk Arm
+ 2 DCE (I like the idea of the first outrage on another Reshiram/Zekrom)
I just traded away the top half of an RDL!!! So annoying! I already have Professor Oak's for dead hands, so i don't think i need to make too many changes there... Do you think thats a wise change?
 
@ OP, have you considered adding two cleffa to your list. it is a great searchable shuffle draw card that enables you to make your deck more consistent.
 
ok here you go:

-1 Emboar ability (believe me you'll get it out in no time at all.)
-2 Revives (Most of your Pokemon are not basic. I know reshiram is your main attacker but just believe me)
-2 collector (again you only have 4 basics. you will get the reshiram with ninetales)
-7 fire energies (i personally only run 12. But 13 is enough with the typhlosion bringing them back.)

+ 2 copycat (more hand refresher)
+ 2 shuckle-blister pack promo (awesome draw power with inferno fandango)
+ 4 seeker (to pick up hurt pokemon and to pick up shuckle)
+ 4 Super scoops (same thing as seeker but mainly for the shuckle)
