Reshiphlosion (Reshiram,Typhlosion)

This is a deck that I may use for states, but I would like someone who rates it to be experienced with the deck and have ideas that are game-winning. (Also, don't be critical on the deck. I am limited on cards and am unable to buy much. If I get more money, then I will see.)

Pokemon 16
1 Cleffa
4 Reshiram
4 Cyndaquil
3 Quilava
4 Typhlosion

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: 33
1 Super Rod
1 Switch
1 Black Belt
2 Exp. Share
3 Pluspower
3 Pokemon Catcher
3 Rare Candy
3 Pokemon Communication
4 Sages Training
4 Pokemon Collector
4 Junk Arm
4 Professor Oak's New Theory

Energy:
11 Fire

-1 Quilava
-1 Black Belt

+1 Vulpix
+1 Ninetails

Ninetails helps you get set up. It is essential in this deck.

I don't really think Exp. Share is necessary. Once the Reshiram is KO'd, the Energy is discarded for Typhlosion to use anyway, so it is rather pointless. Also, you are really lacking Professor Juniper. 3-4 in this deck is a must. I'd consider dropping a PONT or two for some.

- 2 Exp. Share
- 2 PONT

+ 3-4 Professor Juniper

There isn't much else I can do here, but Rocky Helmet is quite useful for match ups that abuse high HP Pokemon. It also makes Typhlosion less desirable to Catcher KO because of the damage recoil effect. I would consider it, but other than that, the list looks pretty solid. Good luck!

But won't Juniper run my deck out too fast, considering that I have 4 Sage's as well.

Yes, but this is an early game deck. Your games will usually not last more than 10 turns anyway. Just don't use Sage's and Juniper unnecessarily.

Well, not exactly. I generally play a combination of 3-4 Sage's/Juniper per game, unless I'm playing Durant (even though TyRam crushes Durant). Playing 3 Juniper would give you an edge in getting that T2 Typhlosion. Sage's > Juniper in this deck, but I feel like Juniper still has its usefulness, which is why I advised running it.

Are you disagreeing with me? What your saying is what I meant. But, yes this is a better explanation of what I said.

I was talking to DSJ. I probably should have mentioned that. But uh, yeah, I was basically restating your post.

I played Tyram for months, here is what I would do;
-1 Super Rod
-1 Black Belt
-2 EXP share
-1 Plus power
-1 Fire
-1 PONT
-8

Super rod is kinda oxymoron when you could just run Revive. Black belt was only a tech Gothitelle right? I think that deck has fallen off the radar.
EXP share is also weird in this deck because you WANT your energies to go to the discard. Three Plus power is too much. Same with 11 fire energy.

+ 2 Juniper
+3 Pokegear
+1 Revive
+1 Rare Candy

Consistency is key!
