So I am dieing to find out the history of the isshu region and how reshiram and zekrom tie in to it like the jap site said I want to find out what reshiram and zekrom represent like dialga and palkia represent time and space. So far we know that they are the black yin and white yang pokemon zekrom is dragon/electric and reshiram is dragon/fire.

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK RESHIRAM AND ZEKROM REPRESENT FROM THE TRUE INFO WE HAVE AND JUDING ON HOW THEY LOOK PLEASE RIGHT AND MAKE IT REASONABLE AND GOOD:){W}[/size]

I've got nothing other than yin-yang.

im just asking for your theory I just want to know what you guys think what they represent cause it could turn out to be true I cant wait any longer{W}

i think Human vs Nature, Yin-yang, Tech and Nature, black King, White Queen. King and Queen or sumpin like dat.

I still wonder how the 3rd legendary counterpart is gonna tie in to them. i thought yin and yang was just 2 parts?

It is good you mentioned that b/c i have an theory that the 3rd legend represents how everything works cause i read somewhere that the outer circle of the symbol of yin and yang represents how everything happens/works{W}:)

I've been wanting to ask this for a long time:

Gen4: Diamond & Pearl
Diamond -> hardest precious stone on earth = Dialga's steel typing. Also Dialga's diamond is blue, so that's probably the reason why its body is mainly blue and it also has grey (probably steel) parts on its body.
Pearl -> precious stones found on the sea = Palkia's Water typing. Also, if I'm not wrong, most pearls are pink, so Palkia's color is mainly pink too.

Everything okay at this point.

Now, WHAT THE HECK HAVE FIRE & ELECTRIC TYPES TO DO WITH THE BLACK & WHITE COLORS AND THE YIN-YANG?
(sorry for the Caps lock)...

O_O
Yin-Yang is Black/White. Yin-Yang is the interaction of two energies, which is naturalistic (fire) and technological (electric) in this case.
It's all in my theory on the B/W forum. They keep everything in order.

Lol. I already know that... in fact, I always knew that, jeez... I just wanted to know why their types were Fire & electric and what was the relation between those types and the colors Black & White... And you actually gave a good explanation... but that's a theory so nothing is officially confirmed yet, right?

It's the most practical thing I could think of as of now.

I have a complex theory (and it may not make any sense, but here goes...). First of all, I know that yin and yang represent binary opposites (e.g. day and night, black and white, good and evil, etc), and that they cannot exist without each other. Therefore, I had an idea that maybe they were loosely based on life and death (plus Reshiram and Zekrom both look like angels). Then there is the speculation of N being a time-traveller, and the fact that TP look like they came from the past. Now, I am not a religious person, but, as life and death are opposites, and in the world of the living, our lives advance as we move into the future, I suppose it would make sense if the world of the deceased worked in the opposite manner (i.e. their "lives" advance towards the past, i dunno :S). This random theory could then explain/prove 2 things: the reason there is a beginning and an end to our lives, and that the past and the future (TP and N reference here) are also binary opposites, therefore fitting in with the yin-yang theme of black and white. I'm probably a long way off the truth, though :S. It is just a theory, after all! ;)

Yeah it is kind of hard to explain, so I wouldn't blame you if you didn't get what I meant. Random ideas just come to me at random times, so I wouldn't be surprised if I had a different thought in a couple of hours. :D

Yin and yang cannot exist without each other just like pokemon cant without humans.

In the terminology of yin and yang, a Chinese dragon represents yang, which has masculine features. And a Fenghuang represents yin and has feminine features.

This all makes sense since Zekrom might look like a Chinese dragon somewhat, at least its head a little bit. And Reshiram looks a lot like a Fenghuang, which is a mythical bird-like creature.

There's only one problem. Zekrom is classified as the Black Yin Pokemon while Reshiram is the White Yang Pokemon. If yin and yang where swapped in their classifications it would make complete sense, although now it doesn't much anymore..

Unless they're switched on purpose..

I remember WPM saying probably that was the case...
