So, I found out Zekrom and Reshiram's origin, there origin is more than just yin and yang, and complete opposites of eachother. Here it is!

Zekrom and Reshiram were originally one Pokemon. That one dragon Pokemon made a new land together with the twin heroes, and people and Pokemon lived their days happily. But one day... The older of the heroes sought the truth, and the younger sought the ideal. A dividing struggle began to decide who was right....The single dragon that had walked with the twins was also split into two to support both.... A dark dragon that searched through the new, hopeful world for its ideal... Its name was Zekrom. And another, a light dragon that searched through the world of the past for the truth, its name was Reshiram. The two being equal entities from the very start only made the quarrel more violent. Whichever side won, the would end up absolutely exhausted....The twin heroes, too, could not find either to be right in their struggle... So the struggle was ended.... and yet, ... The heroes sons began to struggle again... so Reshiram and Zekrom used their lightning and flames to eradicate Unova in an instant.... But if people hadn,t been mistaken about how to get along with Pokemon, the world woulden't have been destroyed! So Reshiram and Zekrom did their best for everyone and made a new land!

So, it looks like Zekrom searches for a hero that seeks ideal, and Reshiram searches for a hero that seeks truth. This is interesting! What do you think. Talk!

EDIT: This came from an English walkthrough of BW, from a utube user named Nightstar1994

Quoting where that came from would be nice, but ideal and truth... way too deep for a Pokemon game.
Ideal is optimistic, truth is realistic. These two personalities are similar yet so different... yeah, too intricate.

@nikohesus
I half to say, from seeing this English walktrough of BW, Pokemon is maturing, I have noticed that there has been alot of mature words that kids woulden't understand . And ya.... Reshiram and Zekrom origins sound really deep into detail.

nikohesus your the guy that figured out sawsbuck...and now pokemon is to intricate *shakes head*. if we think about it the characters have been getting older too. first it was ashes age at 10 then a little older (maybe?) in G/S then loder in R/S and then in D/P they were like 15 and now they are 18 in B/W. thus pokemon is growing older with it. so that it is still understandable to the younger ones but the older ones get it more and they get the references (giovanni in HGSS) more.

I meant it as a sort of denial, but I really love this story.
But where did you get it from, EPF?

:)

If it's translated, then I guess this is official.
In that case, this is some great stuff! I love it when the developers surprise us with stuff like this.

Oh god.

But yeah, despite ripping this from a Youtube video, it's an interesting story nevertheless. This isn't legitimate, is it? Unless the user got it from an official source..

Apparently it's from a translated version of the game that was walkthroughed on that channel.

Yeah I tried watching it after googling for the guy. The narrative is extremely loud and annoying and was probably the first time I ever watched a bunch of youtube vids with mute on.

@catutie,
first it was ashes age at 10 then a little older (maybe?) in G/S then loder in R/S and then in D/P they were like 15 and now they are 18 in B/W
Umm....no?
We have never been told the age of the player character in the games besides Red and Leaf. We only know that the BW player characters are older then all the previous ones.
Also, learn to English.

1. This post is atrocious.
2. I kind of understand where you're going with this, but we don't know the ages for sure. For all we know, the protagonists in R/S and D/P could've still been ten.
3. I'm glad Pokemon is (potentially) getting more intricate. It makes the games more exciting than a simple RPG.

I think that R/S and D/P characters looks like they have ten. The B/W characters maybe have 13 or 14 or somethinh around that age.
My English is atrocious.

lol Sinnoh Trainer i was in a hurry writing all that lol. just look at them though

FR/LG

look pretty young to me.

R/S/E

look older about 13, 14

D/P/P

actually they look younger in this one but still they could pass off as around 15, 16

B/W

they look much older in BW. they told us they were about 18. i like to think that people that grew up with R/B/G, they are trying to make the characters maturer and thus resembling there maturing audience if they have kept with the games through the years.... or im just over thinking it lol (i had red. it was my first pokemon game. thus i am 17 now and thus it makes sense that way) and no....i dont capitalize my sentences lol :p

they look much older in BW.

I could never tell. The way Sugimori drew them it's always hard for me to get a firm idea of their age, so I just accept whatever the game description tells me.

^ i just notice how tall they look...they are like towers. it might just be the angle lol

Yay! This continues my theory on Kyurem's alternate form being his stronger form! But I never thought to look at this. Interesting.
