BW/BW2 Reshiram and Zekrom's Extremely Detailed Story Origin!

Well, that's your opinion, in mine, the FRLG and BW players look older while the others look younger to me. I'll repeat myself: We've only been givine the age of Red, Leaf, and Ash, and have been told that the B/W player characters are older then the past ones, nothing else, no specifics, nothing about being 18...
 
I do remember readig somewhere that the B&W chars were older than the others, and that they were 18 was just speculation.
I don't remember it too well, but it was something like that.

If we're going by looks, I'm sure none of us looked as old as them when we were.
Idk about you guys, but I looked like a munchkin -.-

Anyway, nice backstory, nice to see that Pokemon is indeed keeping up with the oldies who've played Pokemon since the beginning, getting more and more mature with each generation. Although, things don't add up slightly, at least to me.

Wasn't Groudon the Pokemon that made all land? >.>
 
the back-story only said that they destroyed unova..
so im guessing the different legendaries were responsible for their respective regions
 
About the characters, i'm not sure if the B/W characters would be 18. Usually, at 18, they're considered adult-like rather than teenagers. People graduate high school at 18 (usually), so my best guess is 15-16 years old. But yes, I do believe that pokemon is growing up with the old fans like meee! I'll never forget the first time I heard about pokemon and got really into it.....i didn't get the games until halfway through elementary school, but I watched the episodes and played Pokemon Stadium on my N64 before then. :p
 
Yes, this Legend is 100% true. Its told in the games! Pokemon is in fact getting mature. I recently bought a Nintendo Power magazine, and it had loads of interviews of Black and White with Junichi Musada(Pokemon Game Director). One of the interviews it mentioned that the story was aimed for adults!
 
The characters are about 15 years old. The game became more mature to attract old fans who have been playing since the beginning.
 
People have been thinking that kyurem is actually the corpse of the single dragon type pokemon. If it's not, I don't see how it relates to reshiram in zekrom at all, it being from space and all.

Here is were you are wrong. See, Kyurem can learn freeze shock and ice burn, those moves are electric-ice, fire-ice, they are both ice type-relating to kyurem, and the fire part is relating to Reshiram, and electric relating to Zekrom. Also notice rom, ram, and rem in the dragons names, they sound similiar in pattern. Bulbapedia is also reffering to them as the Tao Trio.

One cool thing that I would like to point out is that Cheren and Bianca seem to share traits with one of the dragons. Cheren wants the truth to being stronger and bianca wants ideals as to what to do in life to be happy. N seems to want both which may hint towards Kyurem.
 
i could see the rivals getting one of the legends...and you with nothing?
i like how not only reshiram and zekrom show parralles like drayden and iris (youth and age) and i wouldnt mind catching each legend in their forest/city

N actually says that the player character is more on the neutral side compared to his friends.

"Cheren is pursuing the ideal of strength. Poor Bianca has faced the sad truth that not everyone can become stronger. And you are not swayed either way--more of a neutral presence. Which is apparently a good thing."
 
I think kyurem has something to do with a neutral presence. Maybe in the 3rd version Bianca sides with Reshiram, and cheren sides with Zekrom, because bianca purses truth and cheren pursues ideal. I think this is why Gamefreak put two rivals in the game. For Kyurem either the player or N will have a mix between both.
