Ruling Retreating while asleep?

Can I retreat my pokemon if its asleep or do I still have to flip a coin and get heads in order to retreat?

The only way to retreat when asleep is through use of Switch, Warp Point, or something like that. Otherwise, you cannot retreat the sleeping Pokemon.

If your Pokemon is asleep, you can't attack or retreat. The only special conditions you can retreat out of are poison, burn, and confusion.
@captain.mongoose: using a Switch or Warp Point isn't even a form of retreating. So those cards that do damage to Pokemon that retreat (Dugtrio PL) wouldn't harm the Pokemon that is being Switched or Warped out of there. It doesn't make it so it counts as your retreat. Next time, try and make it so it isn't that easy to get confused with the wording.
