Yes. At my prerelease, there was a shiny Virizion and shiny Exeggcute pulled, and there could easily have been more that I never found out about.

A good lesson to learn is even if nobody pulls a card, it can still be in the set. (Also the Rare Candy does have a gold background; here's the Japanese scan of it: http://pokebeach.com/scans/japanese/bw9/86.jpg).

I run Darkrai/Zoroark and I'm experimenting with a NXD-on Style Deck with the cards and quite frankly, I'm not doing well with it, I had to replace my Revives and Communications, I'm still running the Foul Play Zoroarks (Both BW and Promo) due to Zoroark being Shiny on NXD
