Chapter Nine: The Portal
Davis had noticed the two mysterious pokemon join the battle. Scizor fired a powerful Razor Wind and caused the other side’s pokemon to be pushed back. Lucario used Dark Pulse and knocked out many of the pokemon. Davis stepped to the front and sent out Blaziken. Matt also steeped up and sent out his Charizard. Scizor gave an evil grin while Lucario stayed emotionless. Scizor sped off and tacked Blaziken. Lucario leaped high in the air and kicked Charizard with a burst of dark colored aura. Both fire types recovered from the attacks and countered. Charizard shot a blast of fire into Lucario and Blaziken aimed a Blaze Kick at Scizor.
Dialga’s diamond went crazy and Dialga seemed to become stronger. Dialga gave another loud roar and a strange beam fired from the Diamond. Alex’s flute also began to shine brightly, leaving Alex wondering what was going on. The beam hit Cyber Dialga and a large blinding light appeared.
The battle was back at it’s full not fully aware of what was happening. They had heard an explosion but thought it was from the two Dialga’s fight. Scizor and Lucario were able to over come the type disadvantage and were near victory.
“Come on Charizard! Hang in there.”
“Blaziken! Don’t give up!”
The two pokemon began to tire and were almost out of energy. Lucario used Aura Sphere and Scizor used Razor Wind, knocking out both pokemon. The Galactic Hunters greatly outnumbered the PDF and others. Some of them began to retreat to revive their pokemon.
Sam, Vanessa, Lily and Akira were one of the first to notice what had happened. The light was barely visible from were the battle was, but they had gone to see what was happening. By the time they got there, the light was gone, but something else was there. Mark had seen them coming and explained what had happened.
“I think Dialga opened a portal!”
“What!”
“To where?”
“Not sure yet, but it took the fake Dialga into it.
Everyone turned to the portal.
“Wait,” Vanessa said, “Where’s Alex?”
