Rising Rivals or Pulse of the Frontier?

This is a thread regarding which set you think is better and which has the best cards indivually/best chance for a new tier 1 deck. I also need to decide if I should buy and RR box or POTF box. Thanks enjoy.

RR. It is an upcoming set, and we can't predict a format change when PotF comes out.

I would buy RR. Flygon will win the BR's!

POTF is a way better set. It has way better cards (well, excluding the Flygon), and it has some of the best cards ever seen in the game.

Rising Rivals is such a disappointing set. The only card with actual potential is Flygon, but it's just not worth buying a box or anything. Pulse of the Frontier should be an awesome set, but it will most likely disappoint me too, but not a much as Rising Rivals.

btw, anyone who thinks Rising Rivals is going to be RR just fails. RR = Team Rocket Returns, not Rising Rivals.

Yeah, RR has a few good things. But it's like LA. Everything has a bit of potential, and we get a couple nice trainers. But that's about it. I bought a box of LA and got badly ripped off; I wouldn't suggest getting a box of anything with less than 10 cards with a lot of potential. But that's pretty hard to do. PoTF is probably better. Just my opinion.

The only reason I would want to get RR is to get Eveelutions and the G pokemon, cause I have basically decided that the rest of my decks at least for a while are going to be either Rogues or G's. I love eveelutions but the Flygon for whatever reason seems kinda slow for the decks I tend to play(Speed DusGar,Glaceon(a little slow), Empo(first and only attempt at a slow deck),Toxitank(fast),Toolbox(fast), and now I am trying out legos). I still think I would get more RR if they remade Swoop!Teleporter and then evee would be really good but in my opinion without that card it is just average. Flygon is still the most broken card I have ever seen... just imagine if it were an SP pokemon.
