Main point of deck is is to get dragalge attacking asap so it can start discarding energy. only need a 1-1 mally line because your drag only need 2 energy to attack, and your opponent will miss attacks if they dont play something like mally with energy acceleration. plumaria, skull grunt, hammers and lusamine are slandered mill items.

need help with setup early game. it functions as long as i get the early game setup, when i can get it

I immediately played this because I have all the cards online. I made a few changes that seemed to help quite a bit, when I get a chance I'll paste back my list. I put in two fliptinis also, because failing both coin flips makes me sad. Now I'm trying other techs, like girafarig vs mally/eggs/other mill decks, all of which are otherwise bad matchups, and Persian for hand disruption, but I haven't played that yet.

I realize this is quite a bit modified... and some of the changes may not be justified, but I was just playing around. This version took down an egg (girafarig), a garchomp (no energy left in deck... dragalge really shines here), a gyarados (make em pay deleting 3 gyarados after a beacon just nullified the deck) and some other normal stuff, but went down hard to gengar and mimikyu with omastar, a charizard (I guess girafarig could be useful, but it's probably not gonna be enough) and again some other normal stuff.

I took out the hammers to add some stadiums that I felt were useful, though lavender town is really only to make sure skull grunt is worth it, and to replace your own viridian when you no longer need it.
I upped nest and treasure to 4 and removed ultra, because I just want those early benched basics and all the stage 1s are treasurable.
I didn't understand counter gain or counter energy given you said yourself all you need is one malamar (though I put in a backup malamar anyway lol) so I did 10 regular energy.
I also removed the acerola because 120 hp isn't a lot, and I put in nita instead of plumeria just on a whim... plumeria is probably better still, even though guaranteeing they don't top deck something useful after make em pay is awesome.

Hmm, I think consistency would go up a bit if I did -1 nita -1 lavender and +2 poke comm. Also because I forgot I had no way of searching persian, I guess I was getting lucky when I used it.

what about adding a judge or 2 so i can disrupt macargo tops?

That's not a bad plan. One thing I was thinking about was that this deck currently doesn't really capitalize on the auto poison ability. I just can't figure out how, without a bunch of sevipers.
