Wow, you actually won one. Nice job. Secret decks are always cool, too. I bet you anything that your secret deck isn't all that exciting. Like just some random combination of attackers, like Kyurem/Landorus or something along those lines. lol.

Sup guys! This report is going to be a long one, as I'm going to highlight my entire experience. I had an amazing time, and that was by far the most fun nationals that I have ever had. So sit back, relax, and enjoy!
Preparation:
None, other than testing multiple decks. I didn't know what I was playing until the night before to be honest.
Day 0:
I had to wake up at 4, since we were driving there (big mistake). We got dunkin donuts and headed off on the 11 hour drive. In the car was Emmet, Jessie, Robby, Jeremy, Jeremy's dad, Rob, and I. >.> We just slept, discussed decks, and joked around.
We arrived at the convention center at 4. I hadn't preregistered (which turned out to be a good thing) and got registered in like five minutes, while the preregisters got registered in like 20. Then I waited to collect my $1000 and went off to find my friends. I thought I had lost my Blastoise deck, but I found it thank god. We just tested a lot and I beat Elliot's Garchomp/Altaria, Justin's Plasma, and some other people. I met up with Glace, Machamo the Champ, Nigel, Infinity, and Blah. Jeremy, his dad, Emmet and I went to Steak and Shake. Afterwards we created a secret deck that was so simple, yet it broke the format. Jeremy decided to play it, even though it was barely tested. Oh well. We went to sleep at one after some testing.
Day 1:
I woke up, got ready, got breakfast and headed out. After the player meeting I resleeved my deck, Darkrai/Absol, and tested some games with Blah. I hung out with other people with Byes and waited until Round three. Which just happened to be after Lunch break! I ate some pizza with Jason A. and Noah, then Round 3 began! (At this point, Justin was 2-0, Jeremy was 1-1, Bryan was 1-1 or 2-0, Robby was 1-1)
Round 3: Kelsen Whitehair Darkrai Absol
He had a bye too,so I figured this wouldn't be easy. Unfortunately for him, he dead drew. we played some other games later, which I won all of. Cool guy though, it was horrible to win like that.

Round 4: Lex D. Plasma
I would go against an NJ player....well I dead draw. I almost mount an impossible comeback after he wastes 4 catcher and laser, but of course, my last two EXs (Darkrai and Keldeo) were prized, preventing me from getting the extra turn I needed to win. I only played 2 supporters the entire game and still got it that close. Oh well, I tried my best with the crap I drew.

He gets a much quicker start, but I catch up later on. Eventually, I N him to 1 and start taking prizes, getting down to one prize each. I had to Juniper away many supporters to stay in the game, which was horrible. He catcher lasers my Sableye to death, and I cant get the max potion to keep it alive or I would have decked. Very good game sir, my first legit game of the day!

So, I end up 5-2 after day 1. Justin went 5-0, then 5-2, Bryan was 5-2, Jeremy was 5-2, emmet 4-3 and Robby was 4-3. Ishaan was of course 7-0, and Orrin was 5-2.Sam was 6-1.
for the rest of the day, I hang out with all of my friends. I met Zach, King Arceus, and Jhaze again. We ate Buffalo Wild WIngs.
Day 2:
Round 8: PlasmaKlang
He got set up fairly fast, but wiffed a T1 energy drop, which is huge. 3 Absol really swung the matchup in my favor. Eventually I am able to conjur up 140 damage on a Cobalion EX with Absol and Confuse ray for the win (laser bank was in process as well).

Round 9: Blastoise/Keldeo/BK EX
I got a quick Darkrai, and killed his Klinks while he manually attached to a Keldeo. He eventually gets a Blastoise and the momentum shifts into his favor. We both get down to one prize, but he manages to Cilan+ SER to load 7 energy onto a Keldeo for the win. GG dude.

I made cut at 45th seed and wow. I'm paired up against Elliot. Infinity and Lex wiffed, which was sad because they both were SO close to the invite :/. Jeremy went in as 7-2, Justin went in as 7-2, Bryan wiffed at 6-3. Orrin managed to win his last round from 5-3 to 6-3 and made cut.Robby and Emmet were 5-4.
Top 64 vs. Elliot S. with PlasmaKlang
Game 1: I get a fairly nice start, while he gets out PlasmaKlang, but Shiftklang comes too late.Well, I kill his second Klink and leave his Keldeo with 3 energies and no way to move them. I am able to put enough damage on his field and remove his energies from play right before he starts dead drawing. Then Absol takes over and I take Game 1.
Game 2: He gets 2 Klinks out T1 to my Absol. Luckily, I manage to pull of a T1 Mind Jack. He gets out ShiftKlang first because he felt that I wasn't going to even use Exs anyways and that hurt him G1. He takes out my 3 absol, and I'm kind of scared. Then I notice wait, no PlasmaKlang in play! I set up a Darkrai and take out his Klang then N him to one after he misplays and Catcher Kos my Darkrai. He needs a Catcher to win (he only has 1 left, no dowsing left), I need another Darkrai. I spread damage across the field, and he Iron Breakers with Cobalion NV my Darkrai. My Keldeo is gone, so retreat for my second Darkrai with 2 energy and pass. There is so much damage on his field that all he can do is iron Breaker again and hope for the best. Unfortunately for him, I have the Catcher for the win! GG Elliot, that was really close.

Emmet tells me most of his list, which in the end doesn't help me. My lunch break was Subway, and when I came back, I needed to resleeve some sleeves, which I thought were in FINE condition ( so did one of the judges). Alex had to resleeve his entire deck and replace some cards that were bending (with some other version or the card). Everything is sorted out eventually, and T32 begins late for us!

I was going to make Speed articuno, but the Seniors Finals for TCG began, so I watched with emmet, Ishaan, henry google Clunis, Alex Snape, Alex Croxton, and Jacob. Orrin almost got a T1 Darkrai Game 1 to DONK AN ABSOL. He won anyways, but lost Game 2 off his opponents lucky topdeck and time + laser flips in G3. Overall it was still an exciting series that really showed off his skill.
Then we left for the 11 hour drive.
