Attach to 1 of your Pokémon that doesn't have a Pokémon Tool attached to it. If that Pokémon is Knocked Out, discard this card.

If this Pokémon receives damage from an opponent's attack, put two damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon.

Also I will be using this with Druddigon!!
 
Meh, nothing special. At least it's a tool though. We need more of those. But it could be interesting paired with Druddigon...
 
Or Donphan. Not only will you take a bit less damage already, but they will take damage from trying to make a dent in you.
 
So Zekrom will cut it's HP whenever it uses Bolt Strike on a Pokemon with Rugged Helmet?

This takes up space, though. I do agree with Pokefan4000; Donphan would be great to pair this with. Since Donphan's damage output isn't the best, this card could help get that KO and be very, very annoying for your opponent.
 
....I guess it could give my Reshiphlosion deck less of a handicap against Reshiboar decks. Might be playable in the future but then again might be another card that sounds good on paper but hard to make space for in a deck.
 
I'll definitely be putting at least one or two of these in every deck, just too good to pass up. 20 free damage a turn? Uh, yes.
 
I agree.

Considering the other Tool is only for Basics and there haven't been any others revealed yet, this is the best Tool for anything not Basic right now. Tank Pokemon will benefit the most from this allowing the most damage to retaliate back, but I think there will be some good strategy and combos with this kind of card (Catchering to get around it, etc).

I'm not big on using this with Druddigon mainly due to that high Energy cost. DCE and another Energy? Egh. Not feelin' it.

Ohhh yes. Donphan/Samurott, Kingdra Prime, I'm seeing it. This is Evolved Pokemon's Eviolite. Very nice.
 
Just to note, Zekrom won't increase damage to itself using this (in its current translation)
 
but like dmaster said this is the only tool card for evolved Pokemon. So I'm pretty sure it will get use a fair about maybe not a lot but a fair about
 
This is awesome. As said before, it'll be good on Donphan and possibly Druddigon.

And this probably won't happen because of Reshiboar and other popular Fire decks, but it could maybe work with Steelix Prime. Maybe.
 
Thanks, I completely forgot about Beartic. That will help Steel-based decks A LOT. So I guess that this could work good with Steelix as much as Donphan.

Yes, needing to attach 5 energy is faster then 3 on a basic, or 4 on a magnezone with acceleration.
 
Seems it will be a big help to Reshi/Zekrom mirror matches as it will make return KOs much easier. BTW eviolite will work a lot better with Donphan than rugged helmet.
