The slogan may be misleading, but I think you got it right. People will probably catch it, just like Lugia/Ho-oh. You would get the item, and ten go there to catch them. Either way, I was right that you would get it from TRU. Take that B-Ray! I can't wait 'till April. :D

I'm glad we're able to see all the scans and set-lists. (I absolutely love Darkrai Lv.X's artwork, BTW. Pure PWNAGE) It seems that Darkrai/Beedril, Palkia/Exploud, and Dialga/Porygon-Z are the main decks, this time. I also can't see the poster and the sleeves, WPM. I'm sorry your day was going suckish from having to ride a ton of buses, but it looks like you had a lot of fun. :)

Darkrai Deck - Looks good actually, since they have Beedrill & Houndoom along with Roseanne's Research, which is kinda good. Luckily, they give the Darkrai from SD... :D

Palkia Deck - Looks good too since they have Exploud & Slowking in it. That would be nice, would it?? :D

Dialga Deck - 4 Rares??
You gotta be kidding me. Is there a typo or something??

Great Encounters Poster: Nice. I like the artwork... :D

Sounds like a good time at the pre-release... its been to long for you!!! G/J with the movie... was the last PRE you went to the one where i was there and you did the Lucario movie & Mike did the Pokemon DS game share?

Hope its a better week next week!
 
The Lucario movie wasn't at a prerelease. I think it was a City Championship. And yes, it was a fun time. :D My brother kept jay-walking so we could reach some of the buses on time, and we laughed so hard so many times that I felt a lot better from all of the craziness of this week. I even laughed when he smacked me STRAIGHT IN THE EYE THAT WAS KILLING ME EARLIER THIS WEEK because it's healed now.

Now all I need is my laptop fixed, my grandma better, and these stupid midterms to end!

Wow, the Darkrai deck only has 6 darks in it? What a scam. I was thinking they'd put like, 20 in there. :[ Pure Dark deck, y'know? I'm disappointed now.
 
So there are no exclusive holos in the decks (cards you can't get from the set)? Might have to buy some just to get the basic dark/metal though...

Palkia and Dialga are holo exclusively in the theme deck.
 
Is it just me, or are theme decks constantly getting better? SW gave us some great decks (for theme decks) with useful supporters and some good GE decks are even better.
The Darkrai deck gives us Beedrill, Houndoom, Leftovers, Roseanne's, Amulet Coin and 6 Dark energy plus the good Darkrai.
The Palkia deck gives us Exploud, Slowking, Moonlight Stadium, Felicity's Drawing, Amulet Coin and the not bad Arbok.
The Dialga deck gives us Porygon Z, Proygon 2, Lunarock, Amulet Coin, POV and Leftovers.
I generally only buy 1 deck per set, and it's often an easy choice. However, those decks have all of those deck worthy cards plus some good trade bait.
The are cool, but I wish they would do something a bit different with them soon. The poster is very cool, but it's a bit boring that the art work are just the same ones off the booster packs.
 
I think that Pachirisu has 2 errors, one, is that the bottom left has no numbers or letters, and that it's attack says Smash Short.
 
Cool, we got the scans for the lv. X!

The decks all look good in general. I'm not sure which one I want, though...

Looks like Darkrai won't be for download for awhile....sigh.

It doesn't have a collection number because a Pachirisu card has already been released (DP1). Same goes for multiple other cards in GE, plus a few in SW and even a couple in MT. Also, there is no error in Smash Short, a lot of attacks have odd names. Pachirisu's a shorty, y'know, 1'04". :p
 
Well, at least they're giving darkrai away through TRU, most people have one of those at least semi-near them. I'd still prefer that they took advantage of the wi-fi mystery gift feature. Although, now that I think about it, there's probably more people that live within a reasonable distance of Toys'R'Us then there are with wi-fi...
 
If Darkrai is only available via the Mystery Gift, that will give everyone the chance to soft reset for a Darkrai with the correct nature and IVs. The past two events with Mew and manaphy have been all about luck.

You forgot to mention shiny Darkrai.
 
Personally, I'm not fond of shiny Pokemon, but it is nice to give people who are fond of them the chance to catch one. :]

I would like to see it distributed over Wi-Fi since it couldn't get easier than that, but that's unlikely at this point. It's true that there wouldn't be the same volume of people obtaining a Darkrai, but look at what they did for JAA. Only a select few were able to go to one of their events and obtain an event Pokemon. Maybe they will utilize Wi-Fi for the next event. :p
 
WoW the theme decks are alot better then I thought they would be, I can't decide which one to get!:p!

Cards look great! So do the sleeves! Poster is meh!
