sceptile(ge) + venasaur(cg)?

Course when Leafeon Lv. X comes out all hell will break lose =D
LOL I thought I was the only one who discovered Venusaur (CG) with Sceptile. DARNIT! Haha
For fun, I decided to make a leaf deck. Because I pulled 2 Sceptiles. And the only good leaf pokemon I had were 2 CG Venusaurs and 1 SW Venusaur. I run those with either 4 Carnivines or 2-2-2 Beautifly Line. But Sceptile + Venusaur = MASSIVE Damage. 4 energys is already 100 damage. (Thinks about it, does the math).. yea about 100 damage. 2 Energies is 80.
I discovered that Sceptile + Venusaur is almost the SAME exact thing as Darkrai Lv. X + Blissey. But it's LEAF.
I say YES. Good combo. Works for me. I just need some exeggutors to be my weavile of the leaf deck. It's almost the same thing as running Blissrai + Weavile. But it's Sceptasaur + Exeggutor. =D

Can someone tell me how Sceptile helps out Tangrowth? Tangrowth says it does 10 Damage plus 10 more for each energy CARD attached to Tangrowth. So I don't see how Sceptile would help?

Wait for leafeon. That'll solve the problem. But mind you it won't be easy getting it.

That's true about Tangrowth but I don't see how Sceptile helps it out. 
Sorry for my stupidity but I don't get the "For each energy from basic energy card" part.

let's say I attach a leaf energy. It provides 1 leaf. But sceptile makes a basic leaf energy card provide two leaf. No other pokmeon that I know of can do what sceptile does. So in short, tangrowth and eggs now work with sceptile.
