Sceptile Memory Shrine (Skeleton)

Pokemon: 16

  • 4-4-4 (3 Ancient Trait Sceptile 1 Ability Sceptile)
    1 Celebi EX
    2 Fliptini
    1 Mr Mime
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: 30

  • Trainers 30
    4 Shrine of Memories
    4 Pokemon Fan Club
    10 Draw Supporters (Juniper/N/Colress/Shauna/Professor Birch)
    2 Lysandre
    2 VS Seeker
    5 Pokemon Search Cards (Evosoda/Repeat Ball/Ultra Ball)
    3 Muscle Band
Energy: 11

  • Energy 11
    7 Grass
    4 DCE

Strategy: Evolve Sceptile through it's stage 1 (Grovyle) and get Shrine of Memories out there. By using Grovyle's agility with Ancient Trait Spectile, you're safe from both attacks and trainers. Fliptini is mandatory since agility is flippy, Mr Mime protects your bench so they can't snipe around your guys, Celebi does the same thing as Memory Shrine (though it's probably not needed), and the ability Sceptile provides some energy acceleration if needed.

There's 3 extra spots and a lot of cards which can fill those slots. Switching cards, more search cards, safeguard Pokemon to buy time, techs, and of course the Ace Spec of your choice (a lot of options for this deck). Though you could also adjust the count of certain cards if you think there are better choices.

Treecko - Grass - HP60
Basic Pokemon

[G] Quick Attack: 10+ damage. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 more damage.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: none

Gaia Volcano Tidal Storm
Grovyle - Grass - HP80
Stage 1 - Evolves from Treecko

[G] Pound: 20 damage. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 more damage.
[G][C][C] Agility: 40 damage. Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to this Pokemon during your opponent's next turn.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Sceptile - Grass - HP130
Stage 2 - Evolves from Grovyle

Ability: Grow Healing
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may attach a [G] Energy from your hand to 1 of your Pokemon. If you do, heal 30 damage from that Pokemon.

[G][C][C] Jungle Edge: 70 damage.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Gaia Volcano Tidal Storm
Sceptile - Grass - HP140

Ω Barrier: Whenever your opponent plays a Trainer card (excluding Pokemon Tools and Stadium cards), prevent all effects of that card done to this Pokemon.

[G] Leaf Blade: 30+ damage. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 30 more damage.
[G][G][C] Power Poison: 120 damage. Discard an Energy attached to Sceptile. Your opponent's Active Pokemon is now Poisoned.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Memory Shrine - Trainer
Stadium

Each Evolved Pokemon in play can use any attack from its previous Evolutions. (You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.)

This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can’t play this card.

Professor Birch's Observation - Trainer
Supporter

Shuffle your hand into your deck, then flip a coin. If heads, draw 7 cards. If tails, draw 4 cards.

You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).

Repeat Ball - Trainer
Item

Search your deck for 1 Pokemon that has same name as a Pokemon you have in play, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

You may use as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).

Good Idea but maybe you need to think about how to do more damage or inflict a status effect because right now you will 3 shot an ex maybe some hypnotoxic lasers could help. if your opponent uses lysandre your agility would be no use on the target. Also what plan do you have if you flip double tails?
