Would you like Seasonal Evolutions?

I think there's a strong possibility this is true.
It's name means literally "4-Season-deer", how much more hint can you get?

I think this is cool, it makes evolving and actually training your pokemon abit more interesting I guess, but it may be annoying trying to evolve your pokemon into something and having to wait 4 months to do it... :p

i doubt they are gonna do it by months!!! that highly unlikely maybe by days or weeks or maybe certain routes have seasons Strange region, but i doubt your gonna have to wait four or 5 months to evovle a pokemon

I think any seasonal evolutions will be confined to one area, meaning the same will apply for season changes. Kinda like the Grass & Ice Eveelutions and Magnezone/Probopass.

I think that it would be pretty neat actually, it would be a change of pace anyways, of course people would just mess with their DS times.

maybe its not gonna be like the real season waiting months, maybe the seasons will change every other day or week or something close to that nature, so you wont have to wait THAT long to get certain pokemon

Prolly, but that would be weird, the weather and terrain constantly changing. I dont know about others but after I beat the pokemon game I rarely return to places other than the battle frontier or pokemon centers, and the elite four I guess. So a place changing appearance wouldn't be noticed, or cared about, by me atleast. :p

Seasonal evolutions would be horrible, but perhaps certain Pokemon changing apperance each season would be interesting.

Yeah, like Grass-types could turn brown in color during Fall, and appear wilted during the Winter. Maybe that would be too much, but I would like that. :>

Exactly, I'd LOVE seeing grass types turn orange/brown in the fall *-* But yeah, I think they are too lazy to do that. We all know how they handled sprite differences in the past (oh look a few extra pixels on Butterfree's wing WOW)

I lol'd. xDDD
I'm sure Game Freak wouldn't waste their time making different sprites for every Grass-type. I wish they would, but I'm sure they won't. u_u

It would be so awesome if the Pokemon changed forms during different seasons! But what about Castform? It changes form in different weather conditions!

Terrible, I would hate it, so annoying to have to wait a whole season to get the pokemon I want.

That would suck. I just hope that that doesn't become the case.

Maybe winter ice type, autumn poison type, summer fire type and spring grass type. Maybe more than 1 Pokemon would have this i can imagine the swan changing depending on seasons. I would also like for it to evolve kind of like burmy's.

^This basically. It would become a problem fast and players would go all Animal Crossing on it.

LOL! It would eventually defeat the purpose anyway. No point having seasonal evos, but the thought of it is cool and unique though. I guess, when they say Gotta Catch Em All, some players would even reach to the brink of actually changing the DS clock to get them all. A Frost Deer would be AWESOME!

Ughh.... I don't wan't to wait until next Spring to get.... Hanayome..... (Made up mon)
But A pokemon with a branch evo would be cool. (Maybe Shikijika will have this?! It could be like fire in the summer or something :D)

Okay, a couple of points:

- Uhm, I don't know if some of you are familiar with the concept of seasons? Because when it's summer where I live, it sure as heck isn't winter 20 miles down the road. How could you possibly have route-only seasons?? I mean, I can understand caves being immune to season changes, or mountain-tops being snowy most of the year, but you can't walk from an autumn route into a spring route. That'd be madness. If they are introducing seasons, it'll have to work all over Isshu, like the day and night feature.

- Seasons don't have to be in real time, just like how playing a soccer/football computer game isn't literally 90 minutes long. Seasons could change every week, or every two weeks. That way, you'll play through the seasons every month and have lots of variety.

- Seasonal evolutions would be great! Why not? It's an interesting method of evolution. It would've made heaps more sense for Eevee to evolve into Glaceon in Winter or evolve into Leafeon in Summer, instead of battling near a rock.

- There could be loads of cool changes. More bugs in Spring and Summer, more Ice-types in Winter, hibernating animals unobtainable in Winter, migratory birds like Taillow or that new swan/goose/stork pokemon available in Summer/Autumn only, less pokemon battles in forests during Winter and more in other months, etc.

- Maybe certain areas would only be available in a certain season. Perhaps a mountain area is unpassable in the heavy snow depths of Winter, or caves only open up when water levels fall in Summer, or an area becomes Surf-able after heavy rain in Spring - the possibilities are endless!

My idea was the seasons changing for the whole region not a route.

Hey, sorry, I was only directing it at some people, not everyone that posted! :D
