Second Pokemon TCG Illustration Grandprix Announced!

I want to like all but the Genesect firing like the second one? Is my fave. I can't imagine what they look like as a TCG one. Charizard #7 looks have the Promo card potential.

Zacian card number 5

Tyranitar card number 5

Pikachu card number 1

Milotic card number 3

Wishiwashi card number 3

Charizard card number 8

Lucario card number 4
 
The one with Charizard helping Timburr is the best.
I love the School Wishiwashi art too.
 
Amazing art. The only real axiom on which any of them can score lower is that they're "unfitting for the TCG", and that's possibly just because we haven't seen anything like them before. That said, some of the pieces definitely focus too much on certain parts of the Pokemon, or just cover them with so many effect that they'd look unappealing on the card. My choices are:
Genesect #3
Zacian #2
Tyranitar #3
Pikachu #5 (but the felt one is also very cute)
Milotic #5 (or #1)
Wishiwashi #4 (tough choice though)
Charizard #9
Lucario #6
 
these are too amazing to pick from and im gonna be heartbroken if any of the art I like is not in but I am gonna pick anyway

my picks are
genisect 2 looks cool
zacian 4 hard choice but I really enjoy the art style of this one the most
tyranitar 5 I dont know why it just is a amazing art to me
pikachu 2 or 3 I think 2 betters suits pikachu as a pokemon but 3 is just so cute
millotic 5 Neat
wishiwhashi 5 Stunning I love this
charizard 6 I think its neat but I think im alone on this
lucario 6 Neat

I ADORE that felt Pikachu! It's so cute! But my other picks would be Tyranitar #5, and Wishiwashi #5
 
My faves for each mon are:



Genesect #3,
Zacian #5,
Tyranitar #1,
Pikachu #4,
Milotic #2 and #4,
The Wishiwashi School Forme looks legit, but Wishiwashi #3 is my fave.
Charizard #2,
And my personal fave, Lucario #6.


They all look so awesome though!
 
All of these look so good!!! I definitely think some of these if they don't make it on a card could work as pack art, like Genesect 1 or Zacien 6, and I would definitely consider Milotc 1 or Wishiwashi 5 as a desktop wallpaper.

However, for card art, my top picks would be:
Genesect 2
Zacian 4
TTar 5
Pikachu 1
Milotic 2
Wishiwashi 4
Charizard 1/6
Lucario 6

Not to knock any of the other art here though. These are definitely top-tier.
 
It's a pity that only that Charizard will be made into a promo card when nearly all of the top 50 illustrations could easily be made into promo cards or even normal set cards. I almost wish that the other top 50 illustrators were given $50 each for use of their illustration so that they could be used.

Mind you, that'd be setting us up for far too many Charizard, Pikachu, Tyranitar, Milotic, Lucario, Genesect, Wishiwashi and Zacian cards.

all of these drawings are INSANE but my favorites got runner up status, which happened last time too I think. Oh well, there is some serious talent here.
